I was a fool and didnt do my homework and tried their service. I got a few leads but not much. Most of them were duds. So I called to cancel. I got a voicemail left a message and know one called me back. So I called a again and again. They never returned any of my calls. So I called my credit card company that they were billing. The credit card company got a hold of them. Amazing! By this time 40 days had passed since my first call. The manager John King told me that they have a 30 day cancellation policy. Basically you have to give them 30 days notice to cancel. Well I had been trying to get a hold of them for 45 days. So he gave me a $35 dollar discount on my last payment which should have already been taken care of. Well my monthly bill is $140 dollars so my last month he only charged me $105. Wow what a great company to do business with. So by not returning my calls they were able to make a total of $245 off me. I hope that money was worth this bad review. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A MONEY MACHINE. THAT DOESNT HAVE YOUR BEST INTERESTS IN MIND AT ALL! Outrank.com is a disgrace!

I wish I would have checked outank.com reputation before I signed up.

I signed up under the premise that I would have a new site built and be on the front page of google with a few months. After I signed up I was informed that my site would be setup under a NEW domain name and not my own. Then I was informed that they made a google places account for my site, problem is I already have one and I will not hand over access so they can spam keywords and cause me to lose existing business. None of this was told to me before I signed up but the kicker is still coming.

3 days after I signed up I receive an email with a brief recap of my account info BUT oddly something was put it that seemed wrong.
""Cancellation: Must provide written (email/fax) request a minimum of 30 days before your next billing.""
I thought that was odd to put that section in bold but none of my other emails said anything about it.
2 days later I sent an email asking
""If I do not give 30 days prior notice for cancellation what happens? Do you charge the next month?"
And the response was
""Yes, it is automatically deducted so there is no disruption in services. ""'
Again I responded
""That is not what I asked. What happens if I cancel my service without 30 days notice?""
The response was a cut and paste from the terms of service which as you know is written by lawyers so it is as difficult as possible to understand.

I read the TOS and assumed that I would not be billed, it seemed like it was only there to stop service disruption but I did not read it right.

Fast foward to today when someone called me and wanted to know why I wanted to cancel.

My website looks like it was created in 2000 and looks horrible. It is just a 4-5 paragraph keyword stuffed single-page website. I am actually ashamed to have my logo displayed on the site.
After she told me I would be getting charged next month(that's what they think) I was really pissed and asked her about the question I had asked my account rep and she said that the rep should have been able to EASILY answer the simnple Yes/No question BUT she also told me that it was NOBODY'S fault that I was mislead about the 30 days cancellation. Not the reps fault she couldn't answer a simple question that now may cost me another +$100 for absolutely nothing.

Last part. I was specifically told that the domain name was PURCHASED FOR MY COMPANY, problem is the domain name was registered 4 months before I became a customer. How is this possible???time travel?

It is nothing but lies and misleading information to get a quick buck. Don't be fooled by the supposed 24k customers or the fortune 500 BS the y spit at you. A real, honest and ethical company would not use this form of billing, they would not charge you for another month of service to do absolutely nothing at all.

Outrank.com does SEO for businesses and I signed up on the terms it is a month to month basis, I was told I could change my payment method at any time, when I call to do so, and advise them that I want to be billed and not have them automatically deduct the funds from my account they said they would take care of it, however they deducted the funds anyway from my account and when I called in to ask where the miscommunication was they said they do not offer billing that there has to be a payment on file, I spoke with the supervisor after the customer service rep (Camille) said 'This isn't Mcdonalds... we don't offer that' and he told me my website was 'junk' that he needed to listen to the recordings to find out what happened, I received a call back after he listened, he apologized, advised me that I was right and to make it right they were offering me discounted services... BUT NO REFUND! DO NOT GIVE THEM ACCESS TO YOUR BANK ACCT!! I know have a dispute open with my bank and it has been a huge hassle!

These scam artists will promise you a front page website on major search engines and then give you a horribly embarrassing website that will likely drive away more business than it creates. My website had the wrong area code, typos, grammar mistakes and ridiculous photos that are embarrassing to even have related to my business. (I'm a photographer). When you question the quality of the site they say " well we gave what we promised you, a site on the front page" Save your hard earned money, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!
