Unauthorized charges
I don't know how these people got my Visa account number. Somehow they did. Somehow I was stupid enough not to look closely. Look at your credit card bills!!! Somehow--I am charged for several months of their services.

CD roms were for 2003 version
I ordered the CD for Mastering Word. I was suposed to get and paid for the first lesson but before I knew it, my checking account was charged for all three cd's. Problem was that when I opened them, they were for the 2003 version which is four years before the '07 version I am running on my computer! Don't buy from them, it's a rip off.

Unauthorized charging for software not ordered
They offered free CD for leaning Microsoft Office. For this I was asked to pay $ 6.83 for postage and handling, which I paid with my Debit card. This month I get another CD (intermediate) for which I did not place any order. They charged me $85.18. I am frightened that they might do it again. They do not respond to the phone calls. I have already changed my account number and card number. Dr. Thomas

Unethical business practices
I ordered the "free" EBay Tutorial. I didn't realize that I'd agreed to a monthly subscription to other tutorials. I'd started doing a lot of traveling and had many charges on my credit card. I didn't notice the charges from Overnight Genius and the ensueing deliverys of more unwanted or needed tutorial. I'd also ordered some discs through a credit card rewards program and thought that these were from them.
Last month I saw the charge on my credit card and got another tutorial. I called and was told I would be cancelled and just send back the one I had for credit. A month later it was still on my card statement so I checked the website and was informed I'd been cancelled. I called Overnight Genius and was told I'd been cancelled from future tutorials and they'd received the one I sent. This girl informed me she would give me a credit for the last one ($85.18), minus a $19.95 restocking fee. When I complained she said that was their policy. I then asked her if I could send a bill for $19.95 for my time and aggravation, not counting all the money they'd taken from my credit card. She said she couldn't help me with that and have a nice day.
This company operates within the law, but it knows what it's doing and when word gets around and they don't get anymore business, they'll just open under another name with another dubious product and scam millions of dollors from thousands of more people.

Unauthorized charges
This company lures you with free trial software and then bills you every month for their programs, with out any approval.
The customer service Rep only reads a statement to you about how you approved this.
This is a big rip off!

Unauthorized charges
My husband started receiving these weird 'how to' videos for Microsoft Windows that he never requested and had never heard of. After the second shipment, I noticed a strange pending charge on his debit account, so I googled the phone number (since the dvds never came with a company name/phone number/invoice). Overnight Genius came up online. At about $80 per charge, he called today, conveniently enough after a new charge was pending for the previous day (that makes 3 total). He was told that the order was placed online on a certain day and time that he could not possibly have been in front of a computer and was told that his security code was also used from his debit card..now I'd like to see them prove that. In any case, they will only refund him one of the payments, and wouldn't you know it was the one that was the cheapest (I guess without $5 postage).
Who are these people and how did they get my husbands debit card number? Does the bank accept these charges without the actual security code, b/c I'd be inclined to believe they do. And since it's a debit card and not a credit card, my husband cannot seek restitution with the financial institution that issues his debit card.

Unauthorized Billing
I have received on CD which I agreed to pay the shipping only. Then Overnight Genius charged my checking account %85.18 on October 14, 2008 and then again on November 7, 2008.
I have not even received any more CDs nor do I want to. I called them and got an answering machine telling me how to go to their website and cancel the order and bank withdrawals.
How do I get my money back? I never authorized them to withdraw anything except shipping charges.
