CUSTOMER F@$^&% SERVICE
so i recently got the MYTOUCH 4G and figured since the tmobile store charges like $20 or whatever for a screen protector i would see if i could try to get it somewhere for cheaper and found the same thing on overstock for half the price..i even included the website for the product im talking about so that you guys could see and stay away from it if you have the mytouch 4g..this was one of two items i bought and it states in the cancellation policy that you can cancel an item BEFORE it leaves the warehouse..SO i chatted with TWO DIFFERENT represenative and TWO different times..they bought said that they would cancel my order since IT DIDNT LEVE THE WAREHOUSE..but before you know it...i look at my status for my other shipment and noticed that it was shipped..awesome..but then i also noticed that the item that i called an cancelled got shipped out anyways...spoke to an represenative and told that there was nothing they can do since it left the warerhouse and they also said there was a note stating i wanted the item cancelled although i told him that i called before it left the warehouse he said that because i was complaining about why it got shipped out when i didnt want too, that he couldnt do anything about and that i should contact the postal service to try to fix the issue..WHAT THE F%%^..I DIDNT ORDER FROM THE POSTAL SERVICE YOU MORONS..although i got the shipment it wasnt what was pictured because the screen proctector covered up the whole phone with even where the front facing camera was and the ear piece..if you look at the picture theres clearly a cut out for the front facing camera and the earpiece..but there isnt any..now if i want to take a picture i have to peel back the screen protector because if i dont..it will make the pictures blurry..and instead of covering up the screen it covers up the WHOLEE PHONE..and you can see that he hangs off the corner of the phone...no bueno..anywho..i dont feel like getting stressed out by overstock anymore so i modified the dammm thing myself and cussed out the BIG O..cause all they gave me was a BIG HEADACHE...that also should be there name...not the BIG O but the BIG HEADACHE..if you dont believe try em out for self..you'll be right here posting about them..

returns
Ordered a comforter set from Overstock.com. NEVER took it out of the packaging. Didn't like the color and returned it. Paid $119.00 for it. Overstock claimed it was returned "frayed" andndeducted $54.00 from my return. This is why they ship for $2.95. Don't try to return. They scam you.

Scam
I ordered curtains from overstock.com and tried to cancel before they were shipped but was too late. When I received them in the mail I returned them immediately without even opening the box they were shipped in. Upon return, overstock initially refunded the price (less cost of shipping) then sent another email and said they deducted $40 more because there were hairs in the package. I called them and said I didn't even open the package and the CS person "Jessica" was almost laughing when she told me that they could not restock the item due to hairs. Again, I did not even open the box it was shipped in. I have seen other posts where overstock has said there were hairs in the returns. Has anyone ever seen the proof of these "hairs"? I think this is a scam that they are pulling, especially the way "Jessica" was responding to my call. Does anyone know of any class action suits against overstock?

Return Scam
Don't ever buy coats from Overstock. If there is even one tiny hair, they will reduce your refund by 50%. This happened to me before, so I should have known better, but I thought I would take a chance because their pricing is fantastic. This is their system; they don't want to give you a refund.

I could push it with their customer service, maybe. But I really am sick of dealing with them.

scam in returns - NEVER use overstock
After ordering curtains and changing my mind, I waited for them to be delivered so I could return them. I received the package and did not open it. I returned it the same day. Initial email from overstock said they would credit my account less shipping charge. Received another email where they said the warehouse found a "hair" inside the package so they were keeping $40 of the purchase price. I called them and Jessica was almost laughing when she told me she was looking at a picture and the package was full of hair so they would not give me full credit. I asked to speak to a manager and she left me on hold for over 10 minutes and I hung up and emailed overstock the situation and never heard anything back. There are quite a few posts about "hairs" in packages that are returned to overstock. I think it is a scam. Anyone else experience the same disgusting treatment? NEVER use overstock.

Charging funds for no product
Ordered a jacket from Overstock.com for $149.99 and 2 days later received an Email from them stating there was an inventory problem and that they would credit my account (which had not been billed yet). The following day I was billed $149.99 from Overstock.com. I IM'd their customer no-service dept and they stated they had measures in place to prevent this from happening but there was an error... They stated my account would be credited in 3-5 business days...

I have worked in the banking industry for nearly 20 years and I know it does not take 3-5 business days to transfer funds back into an account...

I will be calling the bank to have the funds reapplied to my account without the credit from Overstock.com.

I will NEVER buy from them again and suggest anyone else thinking about purchasing from them to BEWARE of the billing practices!

Refund Policy
I ordered slipcovers from Overstock.com for a sofa, chair and ottoman. They arrived in a timely manner but were in 2 separate boxes which cost more in shipping and could very easily have been shipped in 1 box. My account was charged $97.92 for the products and shipping. Very reasonable, however... The slipcovers did not fit my furniture, even though I did measure before ordering. The design of the chair made it not work for me. I packed them right up and returned them in the same boxes I received them in. I went on line for their return policy and printed labels. I thought the shipping was expensive but they did not make it clear that I could use my own label and ship it on my own and probably save half. Bottom line, they refunded me $38.46 on a $97.92 purchase! They deducted $14.75 "odor", it said. Are you kidding me? The 15 minutes the chair cover was out of the package and on my chair it came back to them stinking?? I don't have animals, we don't even use the living room and there are no smokers in the house. How in the world did this slipcover arrive back at Overstock.com with an odor? Never ever ever again will I order from Overstock.com! It is a total ripoff. I wish I had done more research then I would have known this.

Service sucks
I've used Overstock on a several occasions but will not be using them ever again. I recently ordered two items from them. A back pack and a watch. My credit card was immediately charged but my order was "in processing" for almost five days when I logged int to my Overstock account. . Funny how the process to take your dough is almost instantaneous but the delivery of said product... not so much.

I was patient for a few days... then I finally got an email telling me that mu items were shipping(tracking numbers and all). One item shipped UPS and the other Fed-ex. Whatever, as long as i get it. Now mind you, I ordered with the hope that I would get my items about ten days. Sound familiar? The original arrival date was the 2nd of Nov. for one item and the 1st for the other. I was fine with the item on the 1st but I was not going to be here to receive the item on the 2nd. I then logged into see where the items where and I noticed that they still had not shipped. I talked to some one at overstock and told them the 2nd would be too late and since the item has not shipped yet that I would like to cancel the order. She told me that it was out of her hands and that I should contact Fed-ex. this made no sense to me since Overstock still had the item in the warehouse and the item had not shipped.

So I contacted Fed-ex and they were very helpful (as usual for them). The item was returned (once it was shipped) back to Overstock. I then contacted Overstock in regards to a refund and they told me it would be 3 to 5 days. No biggie. When I logged back in today to Overstock to see when the other item was going to be delivered I noticed that Overstock reshipped the item in question. Have no idea why.

I again contacted Overstock and explain the situation. I was told that the item is on its way to me (even though it was already returned once). At this point I was super frustrated. I was told that the item shipped out again because it was never cancelled. I told that I did cancel it and returned it. They admitted that THEY didn't cancel it.

I asked the rep (Geoff) how that could be my fault. He said it wasn't but that I had to returned the item again to get my money back. (Even though I had already done this once). He told me to contact Fed-ex to see what they could do. Frustration factor is very high by now. The guy at fed-ex couldn't do anything cause Overstock uses a Smart-post system. So the post office will deliver my item to the usual spot where I get my mail. So its not Fed-ex delivering but the mailman.

Great! So the mailman will just leave the box outside. Its happened before and im sure this time wont be any different. Since Im traveling for the next two months I wont be able to return it. So im stuck with something i don't want and those jerks at overstock have my money.

Don't use them unless you absolutely have to... and then use another vendor. They are inept and horrible at customer care. I just happen to google "overstock customer service" and got a ton of negative reviews from various websites... should have done this before I used them.

Return scam
We ordered a chair from Overstock.com and decided to return it as it didn't fit the space we bought it for and the chair was quite uncomfortable. When we received the chair we took it out of the box and attached the legs. It didn't take a long time to figure out we would be returning it. We took the legs off of it and repacked it in the original box, placing the leg hardware and legs back in their original packaging and wrapping the chair in the original foam and bubble wrap. About a week after speaking with customer service UPS came and picked up the package and off it went--in perfect condition and with all four legs, four bolts, and eight washers intact.

Next thing we get an email from Overstock.com saying they are crediting us back half of the price of the chair due to the chair being unrestockable due to damage. I immediately contacted their customer service department via online chat and was told the legs were chipped and hardware was missing. Not possible.

I then decided to Google "overstock.com complaints" and discovered that this is a very common Overstock.com scam--finding some excuse to keep half of the price of the returned item. There is complaint after complaint of people being charged 50% of the item's cost due to it being unrestockable. If there is any possibility of returning what you're about to buy, don't buy from Overstock.com
