Rip off
I would not recommend this site. The product are cheaply made. Once you take the mattress out the box, the seam of the fabric started to ripped. We should of known better and took this mattress out right away. I really wanted to get this for my toddler that is transitioning into a big bed. I happened to missed the 30 days by a couple days. Talking less than a week! Which is a bummer- now we are stuck with a ripped mattress. Because they will not paid for the shipping charges and only give up to 80% refund. Which you might not be entitled to everything. So far from everyone complaint, they have been getting less than half of their returned back due to restocking adjustment

and plus they will still charged you for the shipping when you have paid for the shipping yourself. So why are we paying twice for shipping. Does not make any sense. They are bunch of scam and return policy sucks. Most places would allow you at least 60-90 days return!

SO either way, your stuck putting out so many cash for shipping twice (from yourself and they will charge you for it too) and not even get the whole 80% refund OR keep this poorly made mattress. BE aware- anything you buy here at Overstock- if you need to return anything, you will not get your money back. I found out that even though you do make it before the 30 days, you will still be responsible and charge you shipping fee. It has to be an error on their part instead of you being unsatisfactory with the product. And they would not give me back my full refund due to the fact that I opened the box. Rip off! What kind of company would not let you return things you do not want??

Actually, this is my first product and last product I would buy from here. Buyers beware! Crappy products.

The customer service lied to me and told me if I had a picture they would give me back my partial refund since it is pass the deadline. They lied again and said I need to returned the item and would not replace my item and told me to reorder from this people. Like I would give another penny to them.

I would like to add that most product they will not give you a full refund back due to a odor, having a hair in the product. They will find any excuses to not give you back your money. DO not waste your money and time on purchasing anything from Overstock.com And due to restocking adjustment they will even lower your refund.

Customer Reviewers need to stop false advertising at OVERSTOCK.com.

Turns out they typed my zip code wrong
I ordered an item & noticed right away that the tracking was showing it as being shipped to the wrong state. Brought this to their attention. They did nothing to check into it, just assured me it was a tracking number issue (which it was not). So, I had to wait on this thing to be mailed across the country to the wrong state before they would listen to me & now have to wait another week for them to send a replacement. Turns out they typed my zip code wrong. Had they listened to me & corrected the problem right away, I wouldn't be waiting almost 20 days for my item.

attempted on-line fraud
On 5/4/10 i ought a Polaroid camera from OS.com. The sale was confirmed through their chat line person after being, rejected twice and I filed it out twice although I could find nothing wrong with either version. I never received an on-line receipt, just the order # from the chat person which I didn't copy because I expected to find it on the on-line receipt---which never came. The price of the camera surprisingly low, which is why I decided to buy. I don't remember price but it was a steal.
less than $100 I believe.

The package arrive from their Chatsworth (LA) facility on 5/6. There was no paperwork in the box, just the camera. Later on 5/6 I got an invoice stating that the sale had not gone through because I hadn't pushed the green confirm button. ( I can't imagine how they could send the camera if I hadn't confirmed the sale at the original check-out.checkout. Surely there is some way for there to be an instant computer intervention, stopping the sale until it was confirmed. Visa must surely have such a component They sent me a new already filled out all i had to do was to click to confirm the sale. But the price on this checkout form had been changed to almost $200. It took a while but I finally realized that they were trying to raise the price after the sale and if I had checked out on that form I would end up paying the higher. Of course I didn't check out on that 2nd form. I removed all their cookies. I am waiting to see what happens next. Today I discovered a reply confirmation of my purchase. The amount stated is the higher one they seem to have created after the fact. Unfortunately I cannot show you confirmation of an order at the lower (original) price, because I never got one. And when they send me a new checkout for under the title "Andrew you forgot something" it stretches their credibility as honest merchants to unheard of limits

unable to return a wrong item
All you have to do is contact the UTAH Better Business Bureau and this scam company will correct it. I ordered a desktop pc and speakers. The speakers were listed as new but were clearly used and the PC was different than what I ordered. I got a return label for the PC that had a 1lb weight limit, UPS would not accept it, they then sent me one with 2lbs, then after a total 0f 50 contact with them (email, online chat, phone) they bumped it up to 20lbs which was still below it's weight. I was sick of spending my time and money driving to the UPS store. After two months and getting a different answer from each person I contacted at overstock I filed a complaint with the UTAH BBB, where their headquarters are located. The BBB told me they have over 1, 100 complaints on file against overstock.com of which which 700 are related to trying to return items. A week later after the BBB contacted them, a fire must have been lit under overstock's butt because they had UPS come to my house and pick it up (50lbs). But the BBB case is still open as overstock.com has been sitting on it for a while and has not given me a refund. NEVER buy from this scam company again!!!

Return scam
We ordered a comforter set for our California king sized bed. It was beautiful and we really liked it but it was not the proper size. It was the same size as a standard king sized bed so it would not properly fit. We returned it with the enclosed return label. When Overstock received it they notified us they would only be refunding half the purchase price because a HAIR was found on the product. Yes, we opened the set and laid the comforter over the top of the made-up bed. Obviously it is possible a hair could be picked up. The comforter was made of satin and came in a plastic bag. The resulting static electricity will attract everything. Nothing in their return policies says anything about this type of situation. I called Overstock and complained. The woman said the return department has pictures of the returned comforter with the hair on it. I submit it is not realistically possible to check over an item such as this and not likely pick up something as relatively innocuous as a hair. The lesson learned: Be prepared to use a "clean room" to remove all possible "contaminants" on any item you intend to return to Overstock or be prepared to pay a significant price. We will not be ordering from Overstock in the future.

NEVER SHOP THERE!!!!
I had the worst experience shopping at this place. I advise that NO ONE SHOP THERE. They called me and asked me all sort of PERSONAL Qs regarding why i am buying this and why am i choosing a faster shipping and why Im sending it as a gift and all in a manner SO RUDE! At the end they wanted me to fax in my Drivers license and credit card PHOTOCOPY. that is not standard practice and in protecting my privacy in this era of internet fraud I said NO. I canceled my order and will never shop there.

they gave me a headache so i had to go to bed early. All because I chose to buy a pair of sunglasses from them for $119. I ended up finding the same ones on Linens'N'things website for $99 PLUS FREE SHIPPING!!! so there u go.

RETURN SCAM!!
I bought a suit from overstock.com and ordered the wrong size. Immediately recognizing this I contacted their customer service and was told they were unable to cancel the order. I recieved the order in damaged packing and processed the return and sent it back. A week later I received a partial refund of $30 which was a fraction of the purchase price. They claimed the suit contained a hair and took about 2 hours of my time and complaining to get my partial refund and they still refused to cover shipping as a courtesy to me for the hassle they created. OVERSTOCK.COM has the worst customer service I've experienced in ages and they tried to scam me on a basic return!! Never again will I even consider giving them my business.

Returns
I ordered a mens jacket from Overstock.com a size 2x for $25.00 (free shipping). When my jacket came it was freakin huge, a size 2x is really more like a size 4x. I then decided to return the jacket and shipped it back. My refund was $5.00????? wtf??? If I knew that I would of just kept the jacket and gave it too someone for Christmas or donated it to the Salvation Army. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM OVERSTOCK.COM. My wife ordered a pair of boots for her mother for Christmas when we got our package and opened it, it was an empty box?? wtf is up with these people??? I wonder what our refund would be if we returned an empty box??? Ha! DO NOT ORDER FROM OVERSTOCK.COM UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING SCREWED!!!

Misleading pricing
I ordered a bed comforter to ship international but was charged another price that was listed on their website. I contacted their rep and cancelled the order within 5 mins. However they still shipped the order. There excuse is that they could not put in the cancellation in time to cancel the order.

Returning Jewelry
Beware that Overstock.com charges an inspection fee of $10.00 for returned jewelry. This is a consumer rip-off because Overstock can send out a poor quality item and then further penalize the disappointed purchaser by charging $10.00 plus the return shipping fee. Specifically, in my case, I ordered a blue diamond pendant and received grayish diamonds. So now I'm out the return shipping fee as well as an extra $10.00 return inspection fee. I had previously purchased the matching ring to this pendant from HSN and received beautiful teal diamonds that bore no resemblance to the grayish stones in the Overstock pendant. Clearly, Overstock quality control leaves much to be desired.
