Sold Used Kohler Kitchen Faucet
I wish I had read these complaints before I experienced this same unethical behavior from this company. I ordered a Kohler kitchen faucet and matching soap dispenser from Overstockdeals. The faucet was not in its original box and the major part of the faucet was wrapped in white plastic packing wrap. When I unwrapped faucet, it was clear that it was not new because it looked used and water droplets were inside packing. Top part of faucet was lose in box along with a pack of screws. I am still not sure if all of the pieces were there because I was so angry and I knew I did not want it. The sprayer to the faucet was new in a sealed bag, but it was plastic and not the same quality of the faucet. The spray handle on this sprayer was in front instead of in back as shown in picture of ad. The soap dispenser was also new in a sealed bag. After I received this order, I immediately tried to contact the company on returning this order but only got an answering machine telling me to leave a message or go to site. I went to site and could only chat by computer with a Customer Care Rep. I could go on, but let me say this was the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. The number of emils and online chats I had to go through to get part of my money back was exhausting. Let me say this was not a small purchase. This faucet and soap dispenser cost me $720. I feel very lucky to have gotten $703 back. They charged me a restocking fee for the soap dispenser because they said nothing was wrong with it. Why would I want the soap dispenser without the faucet. WOW!! Beware of shopping here. If there is a problem, you may never get resolution. This company makes it so difficult that they expect you to simple give up! Buy at your own risk!!!

Gone out of business
Overstockdeals.com is no longer in business - if they ever were. Their 1-800 phone number just dumps into an answering machine that no longer even accepts messages. Their live chat system has been shut down and their customer service on-line "ticket" communication system is a joke. Do not order anything from this company - they will process your credit card order as if they are in business and have the item you want in stock, but it is a complete scam. Their website needs to be shutdown or at the very least PayPal, VISA, MaterCard, etc. need to stop doing business with them.

Fraudulent Company
This company is completely fraudulent. Ordered a Kohler toilet, they charged my credit card, have not shipped my toilet, will not return phone calls or emails. I am going to fight the charge on my credit card and report them to the FTC. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE FRAUD.

Sold defective/used Product
I ordered a Kohler kitchen faucet from Overstockdeals.com and the product was not only defective, but USED! Upon further visual inspection from a plumber, pieces of the faucet were coming apart from within the handle. I cannot get any response from the company and will never purchase from them again.

Cannot return product
Purchased Kohler Caxton bathroom sink with free shipping from Overstockdeals.com (order No. 11583) and received it promptly and it was in good shape. Discovered I made the mistake of ordering the wrong size so I checked Overstockdeals web site about returning. It was never installed so it was brand new. Overstockdeals stated it was returnable if in new condition and that I had not delayed over 30 days (which I had not delayed). Overstockdeals had sent sink in an unmarked, plain box and it was thrown away since there were no markings or paperwork inside . I asked if I could return it in another box and they said yes I could but I would be charged a restocking fee (of which I agreed to) and also would be charged for their original shipping fee. I also would have to pay return shipping fee. (I had asked them what the original shipping fee would be and they never answered my question.) Not too happy about paying for their original shipping fee but asked (always in a polite manner) to send me a return materials authorization form. They agreed that they would send it. But twice I had to ask for the RMA form and they stated they would send it. They never did. All they would send me is their correspondence list which stated they had sent me the RMA form. Hope you realize like I have that you CANNOT RETURN AN ITEM NO MATTER WHAT TO OVERSTOCKDEALS!

Stole my money
I called www.overstockdeals.com and spoke with them about a faucet their website said was in stock. I was informed it was actually on backorder. I told them I had to have it in 3 weeks and they said it would not be a problem. I reiterated that it was urgent I get the product in 3 weeks and was again told it would not be a problem.

About 2 and a half weeks passed and I called to check on my order status. They said they had to contact the factory. Then I was told it would be ANOTHER 2 to 4 weeks. At this point I told them to immediately cancel the order and refund my money. I then had to buy a different faucet at a different website.

About 3 days passed and I still didn't receive the money back so I called them. They told me they had to wait to get their cancellation notice from the factory. This is extremely poor customer service. Their dealings with their vendors have nothing to do with the customer. The customer should not have to wait on their vendors to get their money back.

Another 3 days pass and I still did not get my money back so I called again. This time I told them if I didn't get my money back I'd file a chargeback with the bank. They said they would send it. I check the bank account a couple days later, and they sent the money minus 20%.

I call them again and they said it was a "mistake" and they would send the remainder of the money. The next day I check my account and the original money they sent was gone so I call them about this. They said they preferred to take that money back and send the whole thing again.

Now 4 days later I receive a credit for $72.26 instead of the $93.95 I paid.
