REFUND
My husband and I signed an agreement w/ First Commerical Consultants in August of 2008. We paid a retainer fee of $1700 for their services (which was refundable should they not follow thru with their end, which is purchasing a home for you and doing the lease to own with them). In December of 2008, we finally found the home we truly wanted. We had to put down $500 earnest money and pay for the home inspection fee of $335.00. First Commerical signed the contract and the home was pending and ready to close. Come the end of the month, First Commercial stated they did not have the fundings available to close on the home! I was in shock and so was everyone else involved, included the seller. Bottom line we are now May 2009 and they still DON'T have funding available to close on a home. I lost my earnest money, home inspection fee money and that house my family feel in love with---was purchased by someone else a couple of weeks ago. First Commerical gave me the run around about the "funding" situation. Next week they kept saying funding will be available. I kept calling and calling, next week they kept saying. Finally, "next week" as become MONTHS! I have came to the conclusion that they are not "serious" about their business and they have very POOR customer service. I faxed them a letter on 05/01/09 letting them know I wanted a refund of ALL my money and I aslo had it notarized and sent it by certified mail. My husand spoke to BILL LANGE himself on 05/07/09 and he stated he wouldn't have "funding" for the refund until next week sometime!!! They run their business obviously by the $1700 retainer fee they charge, because that's ALL they do is keep your money and they DON'T provide the services they said they would. I am without a home (with 4 children) and in great need of this money to move on and get me somewhere to live. The realtor I am dealing with is going to contact the Attorney General in the State of Washington and filing a complaint, should anyone want to join, please don't hestitate and contact me. Something needs to be done so that FIRST COMMERICAL does not keep hurting other families. We need to join together and build a case against them.
