Hired P2P Transport to ship a car from Milwaukee, WI. to my hometown in California. My motorcycle was then to be shipped from California to Milwaukee. Arrangements were made in mid-September to ensure that plenty of time was available to get the shipments arranged and in high priority order. I paid the required $300.00 deposit ($150.00 for each transport) by credit card and the remainder according to the contract was to be paid on delivery of the vehicles. I made it clear to the P2P employee I spoke with when I discussed transport arrangements that it was important that the car arrive between Dec. 8 to Dec. 12 as it was suppose to be a surprise graduation gift for my daughter who was graduating from a California University on December 11.
In late November, I noticed that P2P charged my credit card $580.00 which was the balance owing on the transport of the motorcycle. Problem was P2P hadn't even picked up my motorcycle much less transported it to its destination. When I telephoned them the guy I spoke with said he would look into the premature charge to my card and get back to me. No return calls were ever made. So I filed a refute of the charge from P2P to my credit card company and was credited the $580.00. Now the date for transport and delivery of the car has come and gone. No transport of either vehicle was made. Numerous calls and e-mails have gone unanswered. Twice when I was able to get someone on the phone they told me I needed to speak with another P2P employee who just so happened not to be in their office. I left phone messages on their answering machines no less than 6 times and to date (Jn 3, 2010) have not received any callbacks. Do not do business with these a--holes! You have been fore-warned.
