SCAMMING STUDENTS

This company is a complete SCAM! Today at school I was approached by a man named Sevak Gespacia who convinced me I could receive free hair treatments for 5 months after paying 20$, and 50% off at any salon after that! This seemed reasonable to me so, even though I don't have much money and am looking for a job, I was sucked in and agreed to the deal. I was confused when he asked for my credit card since I thought I only had to pay at my first appointment and it was free after that, but he assured me it was only a receipt to show to the salon when I made an appointment. How could I be so stupid?!?! When I was in class aftewards I looked at the pamphlet he gave me and saw I was really paying 20$ PER month for 5 months! WTF! He has even convinced me to sign up for 2 cards since somehow that was "cheaper". I am sure he was trying to get more money out of me now but at the time it made sense to me somehow. As soon as I got home I called my bank and canceled my credit card. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION AND IF YOU DO, CANCEL YOUR CARD IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THEY CHARGE YOU! I will never talk to one of those people trying to sell something at school again. UGH what a mistake!! I will call the cops on them the next time I see them at my school!

Promotion

How is it possible that Pac Promos can sell their "promotion" at my school? is that legally possible? well anyways I fell for it and it was because the representative lied to me. I wanted to promotion because it said 50% off at beauty salons all the time and I thought that included beauty products. I asked the representative and he said yes it does. Later he texts me about it and says don't forget to read the back of the pamphlet and I read it. It specifically says does not include products. Also, I am not trying to cancel it a day later and I am getting no responses. I have already searched online and so many people have complained about it. My friend signed up for it last month and tried to cancel it and they gave her a hard time about it. So she found the "cooling off" law to tell them that we have a right to cancel our service within 3 days of signing up; finally, they agreed to cancel. I sent the same email to them and I am awaiting a response. If that helps anyone look up that "cooling off" law and use that to cancel.
