The boat takes you to Molokini Island to snorkel and see wonderful marine life. What they fail to tell you is that you are only allowed to snorkel in a tiny 100 x 100 foot box area marked by buoys!! For an island that is 400-500 yards long they will only let you explore a tiny sliver of the sea life that abounds. They patrol the "boundaries" with Gestapo-like efficiency and verbally corral you into their box. This is like taking a child to a playground and confining him to only enjoy the slide. No where in their literature do they say anything about this imaginary "Box" they will not let you swim out of. If they had stated it I would have gone to a different company to enjoy the island.
I paid $400 for my family to enjoy a snorkeling adventure on a remote island and instead we are treated like cattle. There were 10 other boat companies at this island and NOT a single one confined their customers from enjoying the island of Molokini like the Pacific Whale Foundation did.
None of my phone calls were ever returned when I called to question this policy.
This company might really care about Whales, but they sure don't care about paying customers.
I highly discourage anyone from booking a snorkeling cruise with this company until they change this absurd practice.
