I've been living at 2871 Glen Gate Circle, Helena Alabama 35022 since June 9, 2009 paying $1400.00 a month dealing with the landlord not doing repairs on a timely manor and with threading calls and mailing me eviction letters one day. Then he turns around and send me a letter to voiding the eviction notice. I've paid my own money of $1400.00 Hundred dollars to have the yard repaired and for the house to be sprayed for ants and spiders, no help from the landlord whatsoever on these matters! I and my family has dealt with a very strong and foul and stinking odor coming from the shower since September of 2010. I've called and sent letter to Paden Realty with all my concern's and ask them to repair these issues. The shower was finally repaired on June 6, 2011. the roof, garage door and running toilet, dish washer, refrigerator and microwave and air condition and plugs around the house. A month for the microwave, Two weeks for the frig, It took me constantly calling, Paden Realty and the owner Todd Paden every day leaving messages and pleading with them, How I 'Lucretia', pay's my rent on time and was told by Todd, not to do anymore repairs on my own to the property. But yet, I'm pleading with him, Todd and Paden Realty to have them done when it took them months with some repair's and weeks with the others before any repairs was done.
June 8, 2011. I had my son Jerry, to take Paden Realty my $1400.00 hundreds dollars in rent for the month of June. Todd Paden refuse to take my payment stating it had to be $1500.00 dollars when, I haven't sign a lease to pay $1500. hundred dollars for July 2011... My lease states $1400.00 a month from June 9, 2009 and I never signed another lease to changed that amount... He sent me a letter to pay $1500.00 for July and I told him I was paying what my lease stated for me to pay $1400.00 a month until or if I decide to sign another lease that states different's, I haven't sign another lease therefore my rent is $1400.00 a month.
Scott Paden, had hand deliver me a letter on March 1, 2011 to renew the lease starting April 3, 2011 for $1500.00 hundred dollar's for the next year of April 3, 2012... These people changes from one day to the next and you never know what to expect very unorganized.
He did "Todd Paden", ask me to sign a month to month lease August 3, 2011 which then for the month of August my rent would be $1500.00 hundred a month. I also told Todd and Jennifer Thomas, Todd's secretary that I was only paying 1400.00 a month and, I left Todd the same voice mail concerning my payment!!!
Todd Paden, phones me with question asking me am I mad at him or Jennifer? I'm a grown woman not a child with those child est games he plays with peoples life. I also told him, Todd. how very unprofessional that is to call me with mess and she said he said. When he should be doing these repair's at a timely manor and not keeping up mess. Todd is good with keeping up mess, but not doing the repairs he need to do on time, In all my life of renting. I've never meet such an unprofessional back biting liar in my life.
Todd, sent Mr. Howard to my home June 10, 2011 serving me with an eviction notice, knowing I had left for vacation on that date. Telling Mr Howard to leave the notice on the door or put it under he, Todd didn't care. This was told to me by Mr. Howard one of Todd company workers. Mr. Howard also stated he didn't understand why knowing that I was a good tenant and Todd should be glad to have me, Mr. Howard also stated that Todd uses him to do his dirty work.
Todd Paden, has been very ado from the beginning and his reason has been in midair for his behavior towards me and my family!
Me being here since June 9, 2009 speaks for itself as for paying my rent and keeping the property up, But then I didn't have to deal with Todd Paden it was Scott Paden his nephew. Who once told me I couldn't afford to pay the rent and then tried to back out of the lease. June 9, 2009...Lol... I've been here paying $1400.00 a month every since.
