trial software being sold
I bought Painter X from file2upload for $35.42. It was awesomely low priced since Corel charges $350 plus. I had already gotten the trial version from Corel which lasts a month and the month was up. Whenever I opened the Painter X after the trial version, it would ask for a serial number and an activation code. I uninstalled the program and then I called Corel to get the numbers. I was informed that I would have to purchase the software to get that. I looked around and found file2upload.com which offered the software for $35.42. I bought it and guess what? When I downloaded it and tried to open it, it asked for a serial number and activation code. I requested the number and code from file2upload.com going through their documents. They took three days everytime to answer and then they asked me what the screen looked like. I sent it to them. They continued to take three days to answer me and they kept asking for one thing at a time. Every email, I would ask for the serial number and the activation code or my money back. Well, it is the 9th of October, only 4 days left in the "30 day money back guarantee", and they finally agreed that they couldn't legally give me the numbers or the code because what they sold me was a trial version. It is obvious that they got the 30 day trial version for free, are selling it for $35 without mentioning it is a trial version ANYWHERE on their web page, and by the time you find out that it is a trial version, your "30 day guarantee" window has closed. I guess this is not TECHNICALLY fraud, but it sure the hell is UNETHICAL!!! Don't let them sucker you. The program you are getting may only be a trial version and the full program won't ever work.
