Our community hired Palm Pools to provide pool service and lifeguards for the 2008 pool season. On the first day the pool was meant to be open, no lifeguard showed up. We notified the company and it took two days to get us a new guard. The replacement guard was consistently 2-3 hours late to open the pool and failed to clean it.
We demanded a new guard and received one who smoked at the pool while on duty and talked on the phone. Most if not all of the lifeguards provided to us were foreign visa holders with minimal English capabilities.
After number attempts to have the company rectify the problems, we notified them in writing of termination. As we had paid the first half of the season in advance, they refused to refund the nearly $10, 000 payment even though they provided service for only a couple of weeks.
We took them to court and easily won. Now the company is disobeying the court order and refusing to pay us our money.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!
