Customer Service
I have had nothing but trouble with my Palm Pre cell phone. I have had it replace several times and it still messed up all the time.I just had it replaced again because it completely stopped working. The replacement they sent me didnt work either. The service rep in the store was very rude and looked down on you like she was better thatn everyone else. She said she would have to send another one out again. She never said sorry for your trouble. I wish I had never left Tmobile t come to crapy customer service. I would not recommednt verizon to anyone.

No applications, tight keyboard, shaky slides
I take the Treo 755p any day over the palm pre . Palm pre is all about hype and nothing to show. I returned mine and reactivated my 755p. No applications, tight keyboard, shaky slides. Take this mess back to the drawing board.

Can't wait to get a new phone somewhere
I've been on the fence about my Palm Pre recently. Today Sprint pushed me off hard and I fell onto a huge pile of fresh dung. You see the Pre doesn't work very as a phone and Sprint's Customer Service has NOT IMPROVED and may be worse than ever.
1) Pre's weak reciever gets no one dot to 1/2 a bar were my Katana worked fine and then the Pre drops the call...as if expecting it... a green bar pops up that lets you redial - DUH the phone doesn't work remember? it just drops again! ...over and over at both my offices and home in 3 different towns where previous phones worked fine for years. 2) ever want pick something up while talking on the phone? if you put the Pre on your left shoulder your cheek blocks the mic - so you can't multitask very well on this so called advanced phone 3) advanced phone what? it won't even display the number you are calling - so when you have linked profiles with many numbers and may accidentally dial the wrong one - you can't even check 4) no voice recorder - can't remind yourself to bring something home later or whatever - basic feature on my older Katana 5) set a speed dial - HOW? I've managed to do it but can't remember and it is the farthest from intuitive editing - I never had problems on my Katanas 6) speaker is not loud and if you turn the phone around to the speaker you start hitting the touch screen and dialing all sorts of weird stuff 7) the touch screen is so sensitive that when trying to check voice mail it re-dials missed calls 8) that is when your ear isn't starting conference calls when you are getting a glass of water while on the phone 9) if you open or close the phone a little harder than usual once it a while it stuns the phone into sleep and it doesn't like to wake up so you wait, wait, wait and 10) don't let the battery get too low because even if you PLUG IT IN it freezes on a lightning bolt charge symbol and refuses to work for hours - making you wait and wait and if its your only phone you are STUCK without a phone. BUT the camera works pretty well with fast refresh time and crisp photos for a phone but when SPRINT talks you through a reset that they say won't erase anything and it wipes out over 700 photos, all Pandora and all ringtones downloaded and assigned, and all other applications - then it is time to ditch the phone and the carrier. Can't wait to get a new phone somewhere!

Total waste of money
The palm pre is horrible. I bought it the first day it was released when I was warned by several. It has cracked in the corner. No speed dial unless I cannot figure out how to use. Email is linked but you cannot dump the trash bin unless it is one at a time. The battery life is horrible. It is on charger all night and within 8 hours it is dead. Sprint cannot help with picture mail so I am sure I will lose all of pictures. Actually camera phone is the only thing that is any good. Now I am stuck with a $300 phone for another 18mths and I hate the phone. Total waste of money.

Disservice
I have been a Sprint customer for 7+ years and was doolish and bought the NEW Palm Pre when it came out. The phone was very unreliable and kept crashing and going out of service. I ask for assistance many times and basically was blown off with Sprint by just being told We will SELL you a new phone but thats all we can do. I finally got a corporate contact to send me a replacement phone from my work contacts and that phone was not much better. I finally went to a competitor and traded phones and when I went to Sprint for assistance to copy my Numbers & Pictures over to new phone or disk the CSR at Sprint totally erased my information from my phone losing everything and just smiled and said thats what you wanted.
