I purchased a pandigital reader for my daugthers birthday and the screen has cracked on the inside, there is no damage to the outside which there would be had the unit been dropped, this damage has come from the pressure that is required to activate the touch screen and so is therefore a design fault which should be covered under the warranty.
I have contacted pandigital and have received back exactly the same answer as everybody else who has written about this fault, I am only sorry that this didn't appear in any of the reviews prior to me buying this unit.
I have requested a further response from pandigital and intend to take the unit back to future shop where I brought it and see if they will resolve the matter although from the reviews I have read I do not hold out much hope.
I then intend to take this matter further as i feel that pandigital are just scamming everybody with these readers.
