Awful Service
We received our order from the Falls Rd Papa John's and the pizza's crust was burned black and it was so tough that we could only eat the toppings on 2/3 of the pizza. We also ordered an applepie along with the pizza, but instead of an applepie, we received a cinnapie that was also burned - top and bottom. We are very displeased. The last four times we've ordered from Falls Rd, the pizza has been progressively getting worse. The convenience just isn't worth it. We will never order or promote Papa John's ever again.

Rudeness
I called to order pizza on the phone like i normally do. I had just recieved the phone i was calling from and when he asked for the phone number, I gave him the number I thought it was. He repeated it back to make sure and again I said, "I believe so, but I'll be glad to check to make sure. Give me one second." He replied with, "I don't need a believe so, I need a real number."
I then told him not to worry about the order if he was going to be that rude. He told me, "Even better."

Bad service
My wife and I wre in the store and ordered a to go pizza. My wife just happened to stand up and was watching the girls behind the counter making the pizzas when she became very upset and motioned for me to come to the counter. She then told the manager that she was canceling the order because she witnsseed one of the girls actually eating AND touching (mouth to fingers) the cheese that she was putting on the pizza. I don't think that will get us to come back to Papa John's for quite some time...or any pizza delivery for awhile!!

DELIVERY MAP AREA
I searched Papa John's website using my home address for a store location and it populated the Austell Rd location as being 3.03 miles from my house. I placed a call to the store for the delivery order. I was told “We do not deliver to your location and to call the Powder Springs store location. I stated the map states the Powder Springs store is 3.64 miles from my house. I called the PS store and was told they do not deliver to the location. So, I decided to stop what I was doing, reschedule my conference calls and go to pick up my pizza from the Austell, GA location. I picked up the pizza and when I pulled into my drive way, there was a Papa John delivery guy two houses down the street from my house. I went to my neighbor’s house and ask the gentleman what store location was he from and he said the Austell, GA location. I’m very frustrated and upset that I had to leave home just to pick up my pizza when the store delivered to my neighbor within seconds of my return back home. My order confirmation # is 403490

Bad Service
Today I had gotten ready to order a pizza from Papa Johns, knowing it was Super Bowl Sunday, we called about an hour before the game to make sure we didn't have to wait too long, after calling our local Papa John's #2196, we were informed that our pizza would be ready in 20-25 minutes. Hearing this, we decided to place our order for one large pizza. Keep in mind that we had ordered this at 6:01PM. (I checked my cellphone records) We ran to McDonalds to get our other food for the night and got to Papa Johns at 6:40, which should had been 20 minutes after our given wait time. I ran in to get my pizza, only to be told that I'd have to wait another 20 minutes. I thought it was kind of ridiculous since I had been told 20 minutes on the phone and had came 20 minutes after that, only to be told to wait another 20 minutes. I let it slide since I saw how busy they were and knew that it was super bowl sunday. After 20 minutes, we we're told to wait ANOTHER 20 minutes. I saw other customers that had also been waiting for a long time, they're orders simply just sitting there, they had to ask the cashiers to check their orders in order to get them! That is ridiculous!! After waiting almost 40 minutes for my pizza and being told to wait another 20 minutes, I watched as the cashiers told a man who JUST walked in and placed an order that his pizza would be ready in 20 minutes. They blatantly lied to him knowing that all of us had been waiting for well over 30 minutes for our pizzas that we had ordered over an hour ago! What kind of service is that?! Around 7:40 the cashier to us that our pizza was in the oven and that it'd be ready in 10 minutes. Ten minutes later, guess what? She told us our pizza just got in the oven and would be ready in 10 minutes. It was then that I voiced my complaint and asked for my refund. This was at 7:50.
I understand that today is a very busy day for them but if they would have only told me my ACTUAL wait time (which was almost 2 hours) I would have just decided to cancel and buy from somewhere else. I had even asked before I placed my order how long the wait time was. Did they think that we we're idiots and wouldn't know how long 20 minutes was?! It was the biggest waste of my time, being lied to, to be told that I would have my pizza in 20 minutes, in 20 minutes, in 10 minutes, I was taken as a fool. Worst part is another man that had been waiting there for almost as long as I was had asked about his pizza many many times as he was waiting, only to be told "it's not ready yet". Finally, when I was waiting in line to ask for my pizza the final time, I overheard him asking the girls for his order again only to see the girls check boxes and then congregate to giggle. This is what she told him when he asked her what was so funny, "honestly sir, I don't know where your pizza is. I can't find the pizza, the box, or the label. I really don't know where it is." They tell him this AFTER he had been waiting for almost an hour and after being told "it's not ready yet". This proves that they didn't even LOOK for his pizza the last few times he had asked for them.
This is the WORST service I had ever experienced ANYWHERE. I am a very loyal Papa John's customer too, I have ordered from this Papa John's many times before, usually my order taken by the manager and I always had a prompt and correct answer as to when my pizza would be ready. I don't know if the manager or other workers knew that the girls were telling people that their pizzas would be ready in 20 minutes or not because I HAD heard people in the back saying they were really backed up. When I asked the manager about this, he simply said, "these girls are just teenagers. It is a busy night, it's really hard to differentiate between 20 minutes and 2 hours". Really? What kind of response is this. Would you tell someone that their pizzas would be ready in 20 minutes when you KNOW FOR A FACT that there are almost 10 people in your store waiting for theirs that they had ordered over an HOUR ago!?
Words cannot describe just how upset I am about this, the way I was lied to and taken as a fool. I only got home to barely catch the beginning of the 4th quarter. If I only had been told the correct wait time, I would NEVER have waited. She kept telling me 20 minutes, 20 minutes, pizza is in the oven. I don't know when ANY of that was true. I can assure you that if you called half the customers at this Papa John's, you will get the same complaint. As I was leaving, many of the customers that had been waiting an absurd amount of time told me "you are right ma'am. You are correct. I'm glad you said something". I assure you that I will NEVER be ordering from this Papa John's again.

Can't get a pizza delivered
Rainy night; wanted pizza delivered. Had coupons for Papa John's. After a lengthy signup process online, we searched for available stores within a 5-mile radius. We were directed to a store about 2.5 miles away. The menu interface is a little confusing but when you figure out you can start with a "set" pizza recipe and then add or take away items, it makes more sense. The signup and order process took perhaps 20 minutes total.
After placing the order, the error message was basically that our order couldn't be fulfilled with that store. There was no further information.
Bottom line: we successfully signed up at, and obtained an actual pizza and salads, delivered within 30 minutes from Domino's. Domino's site also has its own problems (similar, confusing menu interface; memory intensive pages that "hung" my PC from time to time--but we did get to eat pizza and not leave the house!
On calling the Papa John's customer service hotline, I was politely told yes, that restaurant is within what would usually be considered a reasonable service area for my address, but apparently that store has a different policy for how far they'll drive. End of conversation.

Manager lied to cover his mistake
We ordered a current special they were having: 1 large deluxe pizza and 1 large with 2 toppings. We did it online which we've never had any problems with in the past but this time we placed the order at 7:15pm. I called back at 8:15pm because they said due to the rain they were busy. Ok I understand, but then the manager Marco Novello said it would be 10 mins. When I called back at 8:30pm he said it was late because on the order I indicated "pick-up". I said why then did you charge me $2.25 for a delivery fee? He then tried to backtrack and say he thought I was another order. Well needless to say when the pizza finally arrived at 9:15pm - 2 HOURS AFTER I PLACED THE ORDER...I sent the driver back and refused the pizza. I called my credit card company to dispute the charges. Will never ever order from Papa John's again. Domino's just earned a new customer.

Terrible experience
We ordered a deluxe pizza with everything except green olives& peppers& asks them to cut it in little squares & it was in great big pieces. My husband has reflux disease & other problems & they put something on it real spicing. We don't have money to throw away like that. We couldn't even eat the pizza. We just ordered it last night & my husband's name is michael moore. We called the store& complaint & they really didn't care .Real bad service. Very unhappy customers.

Papa John's handed out "Crybaby" t-shirts that displayed Lebron Jame's number (23). I think the "Crybaby" t-shirts that the Washington Wizard fans wore on Friday May 2nd, 2008 was a terrible form of advertisement. Not only does it show that Papa John's has no class, it also shows what a terrible judge of talent your marketing department has as the Wizards lost for the 3rd year in a row to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
They lost two customers as my husband and I will never purchase their pizza again, and understand this will not be my last form of complaint.
