My deposit plus additional money was being held in escrow on two pieces of property in Playa del Mar. The five year limit was up on one deposit and the contract had stated that the deposit would be returned in full if the property was not purchased by that deadline. I wrote to and called Mr. Neustein about having my deposit returned to me. He did not answer my letter and would not get on the phone with me. His secretary tried to explain that the "money had been dispersed" and Mr. Neustein is no longer involved! I tried to find out to whom the money was dispersed, as I explained that someone received my money that was "being held in escrow". If anyone has any information for me, I would appreciate any help that I can get, as I am lost as to what to do. Most of the readings have been about people not getting deeds so I would like to know if anyone received their deposits. A class action law suit may be the way to go.
