We submit loss mitigation and modification proposals on behalf of our clients (whether in bankruptcy or not) directly
to the loan services via portal. This allows for immediate response within 7 days or less.

Loan modification companies are submitting loans via fax, while not knowing for months who is handling your request
or proposal, or if the lender actually received your loan documents.

When we submit your request directly to the lender. When a response is received we keep you continuously updated. When your lender sends us a communication, we forward that communication directly to you via your email address.

The Loss Mitigation Process is designed to function as a forum for debtors and lenders to reach consensual resolution whenever a debtor's residential property is at risk of foreclosure. The Loss Mitigation Program aims to facilitate resolution by opening the lines of communication between the debtor's and lender's decision makers. While the Loss Mitigation Program stays certain bankruptcy deadlines that might interfere with the negotiations or increase costs to the loss mitigation parties, the Loss Mitigation Program also encourages the parties to finalizes any agreement whether under bankruptcy court protection, or not in bankruptcy instead of seeking dismissal of the bankruptcy case or foreclosing on the debtor's property.

As a cooperative effort by the actual working groups involved in the resolution of defaulted mortgage loans, both the debtor’s counsel/attorneys and the loan services have refined the process and committed to an electronic interface for sharing information to provide timely and interactive analysis of borrower situations. Over 35 loan servicers are actively taking part in the loan modification program.

The portal provides loan servicers with a borrower’s financial information on the loan servicer’s forms and authorizes communication, especially if the account is in Bankruptcy.

The information allows the loan servicer to review the loan for potential loss mitigation options and to communicate directly with the debtor’s counselor borrower(as indicated on the submission). The electronic exchange of information via the portal increases the efficiency and decreases the wait times with which loan servicers can complete their analysis. In many cases, the electronic contact provided facilitates
the first active communication between the distressed borrower and our attorneys.

This is not a government sponsored solution, the parties through their own initiative worked together to create this solution and make it work and address 80 to 90% of the mortgage market. The portal and direct communications through the attorney and the loan servicers also addresses another issue facing our society and that is “borrower relief scams”, by having licensed parties represent the borrowers instead of scam artists.
