My complaint is about how the rules in our neighborhood have changed since I've signed my 2nd lease. I am a single mother of 3 boys and spend aprox. 2 hours or more outside with my children. Within the past 6 mos. our property manager has sent out final warning notices over our children playing outside. We were first told they could not be outside unattended at anytime, which I made changes to my schedule to sit outside while they played. (Not all parents complied.) Then residents were told children could not play in the streets, or between the buildings and not be on the property w/o supervision at anytime and an eviction process will be taken on those who do not comply. (Which I did, especially after a notice of a final warning for my children being outside while I was in my apartment with my door and windows open, bc this wasn't adequate supervision. Sorry, had to do the dishes; single mom.) Now after Mother's Day weekend I was greeted with the manager's message that #1 No Ball Playing! (Yes, that's exactly what is says.) This is our final warning bc it's damaging the grass and has caused damages to the property. When I asked the Main Office where my children could play w/o these restrictions; they suggested for them to TRESPASS on an old church property, completely out of my view with a fence and bushes on both sides. OR, I can take them to a park here in the city of Titusville. I pay to live here as do the other residents, but our children are not free to play WITH our supervision?? They claim to be a "family" neighborhood; what do they do to help the families here??? Tell us to keep our children inside. Thank you for tricking me into signing a 2nd lease. I never would've knowing these were the rules.
