I booked hotel 4 rooms through the hotel official website on 11/26/09 my check in date is Dec3 and check out date is Dec8, when I made the reservation it directly went to Starwoodhotel.com without any hint. My guest changed the travel date, then I called the hotel to cancel the reservation with the confirmation number in thier valid cancellation time. They transfer me to reservation or cancellation Dep. to cancel my reservation, and gave me the 2 cacellation number. I don't know whether the hotel operation transfered my call to the hotel reservation dep. or Starwood customer service to do the cancellation. But they didn't email me the cancellation to confrim it. After few days they charged me $861.47 for one room per night for " no show" reason. I request refund for the ridiculous charge from the hotel, they said they never got my cancelaltion call for the fourth room, they only cancel 3 of the rooms. And they let me deal with Starwood since I made the reservation through them. As the innocent victim, I have never know I dealed with the third party before the case happen, they didn't take thier responsbility for the mistake but charged the customer.
I'm so disppointment for the bad experiencement.
I really need to sue them until I get my money back. I should NOT to pay for thier mistake.
