My dearest friend and I were first time customers at Parkway Custom Dry-cleaning. We dropped off my three coats (two long minks; one searling and a suede hat) on November 3, 2010.
My ticket I was issued by Parkway Custom Dry-cleaning stated a due date of November 24, 2010 after 4:00 pm. I called on the week of November 29, 2010 to confirm pick-up availability. I was told by the associate answering the phone that my dry-cleaning was ready for pickup.
On Saturday, December 4, 2010 when we arrived to pickup my dry-cleaning I was confronted by a brutal unprofessional associated. I presented all of my cleaning tickets; she returned with two mink coats and a suede hat; but the third coat was missing. When I questioned where is the third coat? She rudely responded that it not ready, without explanation; I requested additional information, she stated I would have to wait until Monday in which the cleaning team would be available.
While returning home I had a very bad feeling, so I called Parkway Custom Dry-cleaning and asked to speak with a manager. The man that answered the phone state he was the owner Jon Simon, I tried explaining my concerns, but – Jon took immediate defense – he would not let me get a word in, Jon Simon repeatedly cut me off.
I’m thinking.. I’m a business owner and I’ve never met such a team of workers with such horrible communication skills and customer services. I returned a call on November 6, 2010 and requested to speak to a management or whoever was in charge; in order to research the matter; once I share my name the associated hung the phone I called a second time and she hung the phone up a second time.
Parkway Custom Dry-cleaning has not shared any explanations or possible due date in return of my $2, 500 Shearling coat. I can honestly say from perspective until my coat is return – Parkway Customer Dry-cleaning has stolen my coat.
