I strongly don't recommend ordering from PartsGeek ever
I ordered a 98' Toyota Camry door front door handle from them, a few days later I received the wrong part. Instead of the front right door handle, I was sent the right rear door handle. However, my brother ordered a 97' Nissan Altima right rear view mirror and the correct part was sent. I tried emailing PartsGeek, they told me to send the part back. So I did, and I haven't heard back from them since. I have called numerous times and still haven't spoken with a representative. I strongly don't recommend ordering from PartsGeek EVER!!!

customer service
I placed two online orders with partsgeek.com in close sequence, within 10 minutes of each other. I found their customer service email, and asked them to combine the orders to save shipping costs. Their reply was bluntly that the don't do this. I replied to inform them of my disappointment.
I did not ask that either order be canceled, and waited for my parts to arrive - all the while with a car out of commision in the driveway. After quite some time, I received an email declaring a refund for the second order, though I had not asked it be canceled. Again, I replied to let them know of my dissatisfaction, and asked that they fill the order. When this did not happed, I placed the order again, through their normal ordering process.
After a very unfriendly and unpleasant interaction with their customer service staff, my second order of these same parts was canceled. Their customer service staff took a vindictive position with me and had canceled my order. It seems their view of customer service is not to expect dissappointment when they mess up, and fix the problem to please their customers, but rather approach the situation vindictively and with malice.

not what I ordered
This is what I ordered I copied this from the e-mail I was sent verifying my order. "1993 Ford Probe Clutch Pressure Plate and Disc Set Transmission Price: $44.07 Core: $0.00 Qty: 1 Part #: SD614." Needless to say I was surprised when all I got was a clutch disc. I'm no lawyer but isn't that false advertising? They even had a picture of the whole set I was supposedly ordering. I think I'll stick with ebay. Haven't had any problems with them.

Shipping costs with NO PRODUCT
Ordered a turn signal light for 2000 Camry. PartGeek.com sent the wrong part ...did not fit the car. I had to pay shipping both ways. Cost me $15.00 for nothing. They seriously wanted me to reorder the part.

Partsgeek.com sent me the wrong parts. I ordered front rotors, they sent me rear rotors. Hey, easy to fix, right? Let me send them back and send me the right ones. That would be ethical and good business. BUT THEY WANT ME TO PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING!!! Now I am looking at buying another set locally and paying for shipping. Oh and my car is in the shop already. Terrible customer service. Terrible policy, Partsgeek.com!

Its not worth a lower price if they steal your money on shipping charges for out of stock items
Ordered an oil dipstick & holster funnel from this website.When I went to checkout, my shipping charge was $3.45. Added a breather hose & it showed a seperate shipping charge just for the hose itself, for $7.50. My card was charged for the cost of all 3 items & both shipping charges. A week later, I receive the dipstick & funnel, but no breather hose. No explanation for my missing part on the invoice, packing slip or by email, NOTHING. So I email them after several futile attempts to contact them by phone & get a response stating that the hose was out of stock & I should look for a refund to my card by the end of the week. I emailed them back asking if I'd also be receiving a refund for the $7.50 seperate shipping charge on this out of stock item, to which they responded that I would only receive a refund of the $3.45 shipping charge if anything. Yes, they actually said "if anything". At this point, I'm just OVER it & don't choose to argue with these morons about the 2 seperate shipping charges & decide to just wait patently for my refund. 4 days later, still no refund, but did receive an automated email telling me my refund had been processed, and guess what? Its only for the cost of the missing hose, NO refund for shipping whatsoever. Now I do realize its only $7.50 they're ripping me off, but its not about the amount, its the principle. Save your money! Its not worth a lower price if they steal your money on shipping charges for out of stock items, PERIOD!

I've ordered from these guys twice; both bad experiences
I've ordered from these guys twice; both bad experiences. First time they totally sent me the wrong part (their mistake), yet insisted that I had to pay to ship it back to them before they would send me the correct part. I just threw it away and figured I'd never order from them again.
Recently I tried them again. They had one part, spark plugs, which were significantly cheaper than everyone else ($11 vs $18 each), so I ordered eight of those and various other filters. Only the spark plugs had a price advantage over other sellers, but I figured the savings on the plugs made it worthwhile. I ordered, paid by credit card, order was confirmed and my card was charged very quickly. I got a shipping notice two days later which listed the filters but no plugs. Since it's quite difficult to contact them directly, I had to ask through their website form if this was in fact a partial shipment. I got a reply a couple days later saying the plugs were out of stock, deleted from my order, and a credit was issued. The plugs showed "in Stock" on their site when I ordered them, the day my order was shipped, and also today. Six days later and my credit hadn't shown up on my credit card, so I contacted them again. I got a very quick E-mail replay that my credit was being processed today. Really? Promise a credit and then don't even process the credit until six days later after I complain?
I suspect I know what game they're playing, and it will Absolutely be the last time I will order from this place.

Absolutely unresponsive. They sent the wrong part Charged me to return it sent the wrong part again and now will not return calls will not return emails . Worse customer service I have ever seen STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY

I have never seen a company with such horrendous customer service
I ordered parts from them and they took the money from my account and when I finally got ahold of them because my parts never came they said it was my fault. After fighting with them they said they would refund my money. Shortly after that they refused to reply to emails and I had to go after them for fraudulent charges. Do not deal with these clowns. I have never seen a company with such horrendous customer service.
