I had applied for the passport in the regional office of Bhopal, MP. in the jan 08 month for two persons i received passport for one person but not received for the another person .

I have applied for a passport in august 2007.I have no date of birth proof so I attached an affidavite with my application. My police report is clear but still they are asking for a birth certificate for age proof.I am 55 years and have no proof other than the affidavite attached.Now what to do ??????????????????????????????

Dear Sir/Madam,

The place of issue field in the passport has been overwritten by the Passport authority .
Due to which,the German consulate has rejected the visa application .
And my flight is for 25th of this month.

So what steps should I follow to quickly sort out this issue.

Please note :My passport was issue from Patna Bihar in 1999,at that time the our current residence state Jharkhand was not formed.
Where should I lodged the complain?(Patna or Ranchi)?

We have submitted the Passport documents 6 months back, and while submitting the documents, we clearly attached 4 ppf forms keeping in mind that there is a change in place. But the official returned 2 documents saying its not required. While trying to search the details in WEB its clearly mentioned that the passport will be sent in 1 week for almost 20 days and when checked the same over tele information (After some thousands of calls) came to know that the PPF forms need to be submitted. When we reached Passport office to submit the docs, they said nothing is mentioned here about the additional docs. Everything is fine you will receive the passport. Getting frustrated from this again we tried reaching the Tele information - again the repeated story of submitting the docs came into picture. And no information is update in the WEBSITE (still today the same). We have submitted the documents almost 20 days back and said very clearly that we need passport on priority as we need for a processing. But no response yet, and when trying to reach them - the after some hundreds of calls the Tele-official - says that we didn’t received the verification report and when trying to seek the Grievance information. She kept the receiver on face.

There is no response of Telephones which they mention on the website - always engage or even if it rings no one response the calls.

There is no proper update over the Web site.

When sends a mails given in the website, there is not response at all.

But the Passport officials claim that - there would not be any delay in issue of passport.

I had submitted the application for issue of passport. Now i have recieved the passport but my name is wrong, hence it is useless fro any travel abroad. what do i do? How can i get it done at the earliest.
