Status Passport application has been submitted by applicant along with applicable fees (if any) and supporting documents.

I have submitted application on 09/07/2010 (7 months ago) but still didn't get the passport. There was an objection in my passport application "Your name on the application form differs from the name mentioned in the Documents/ Earlier Passport furnished by you." . So I also submitted all required document (Newspaper cutting and Affidavit) on 18/10/2010 (4 months ago). I went many times to PSK to get to know about my status but not getting any updates on this, even police verification is not yet done. I don't know what to do at this point of time. there is no one to help me out. Now I am thinking to cancel my passport bcz no hope... no buddy to listen me... If any one have any suggestion plz help me.. i need it urgent...
