Sleeper volvo which started at 7p.m. on december 11, 2010. Drunken driver within Panjim city was speeding the car ignoring speed bumbers, but at 10.30p.m. finally bus Axle broke and bus was stranded near Goa-Maharashtra border for 2 hours. A lot of passengers agitated to driver to ask for a new bus but both the drivers ignored and started with the same bus. The driver on the seat was drunken one again, who even was couldn’t stand on his feat.
At 3.30a.m. when most of us fast asleep, bus again bumped with axle down, back left tyre separated and bus crawling like a snake dashed to most of the trees. Good luck was there wasn’t a valley otherwise 60 of the passengers, out of which 15-20 foreign tourists, have lost their life. Bang was so severe that lot of people got injured and when they came out just to know that driver have ran away. Paulo Travels neither had any alternative arrangement nor thier complaint line was working to report this. Even at 7p.m. when the owner Mr. Mario Periere was called to report about this incident, he avoided call. He was smsed and mailed about this incident but no reply from him.
