I have been receiving emails from paypal telling me that my account is being charged certain amounts of money, they are all different. Today i got another one and it tells me that i have been charged $189.95 for something from "Researchanyone.com", I have never heard of this company and have never ordered anything from them. All the charges come from this same company only the name of the buyer is different, Today its John Angels. The last time it was Nancy i forget her last name.
I also get request from paypal to go in and release something, i can't remember all the emails i have received from them. I am just tired of receiveing these emails. PLEASE MAKE IT STOP. I HAVE NOT ORDERED FROM OR WILL EVER ORDER FROM"RESEARCHANYONE.COM".

Refund scam
I won an on-line auction on ebay on 7/5/08 and never received my product. After contacting the seller for a refund due to non-delivery, a refund was done through paypal. However, my credit card was charged a second time instead of being credited. After an hour on the phone with three different reps with paypal, I was told there was an I.T. problem that has been on-going for eight days and there was no way for them to reverse the charges on my credit card.
This is THEFT. I will never use paypal nor ebay again.

Do not apply my payments
4/28 internet check 483.58 deposited ok,
5/30 internet check 325.66 was received but not applied to my account,
6/12 internet credit 325.66 - retd to my account,
6/23 internet check for 538.68 recd. by paypal but not applied,
6/27 paper check #3801 mailed to paypal amount 702.45. Not applied.
My credit is being tarnished and I am being charged late charges and interest. Please don't suggest I call paypal. It is like talking to a kindergartner. I retired from GE after 37 plus years and I know they do not approve of this kind of sloppy work. I was mortified at the number of complaints that were similar to mine. I think my checks are probably lying in someones desk drawer. The first one was applied and the others were not. Since all of them had the same info, what does that tell you? Please let me hear from someone who will take the time to straighten this out.
Thank you.

Terrible experience
I purchased an item on ebay using echeck, which was clearly my fault because at the time I had and still have a debit card, but I had not added it to my account. I use a debit card from a reputable bank in the USA and debit cards are linked to checking accounts, but anyone who uses a debit card knows that they are not authorized to physically write checks.
Two days later I get an email from paypal saying that the bank account number was not correct, well thats pretty funny and weird because two days after the first purchase I made a second purchase using my debit card and the ebay seller received their funds immediately and the second item I purchased was sent in two days.
The point I am trying to make is paypal deleted my bank account information because they had made a decision that the account number was incorrect. BULL-----. On the paypal website it clearly states that you can add a debit/ credit card for back up funds and link it to your bank account. If paypal cannot get funds directly out of my bank account does it not make sense to just take the funds off my (DEBIT CARD) that I have on file DUUUH. What a bunch of A-----.
I may have added a debit card after the fact, but like I mentioned above if they could not get the funds directly out of my checking account the staff would of had enough sense to just take the funds off my debit card instead of deleting my bank account info., which by the way is legitimate or paypal would not of been able to pay the ebay merchant, again DUHHH. What kind of staff does paypal have working 4 them these days.
PAYPAL SUCKS LIKE A SOUR LEMON. Over 900 complaints from consumers on the BBB website and lawsuits up the wazooh someone needs to step in and take control of this sick CRAP going on and the BBB has the GALL to list paypal as a satisfactory business, well we know why that is. The BBB is getting their cut of the profit from paypal. The BBB membership fees.

Terrible service
I have been using ebay and PayPal for quite some time to earn extra money, here recently I listed a Dolce and Gabbana handbag and sold the item to an individual in IL, this person paid for the purse shortly after winning the auction. The next day I sent an email to the person to let them know the item had been shipped and I was tracking it, she then files a dispute with Paypal, saying she had not received the item. PayPal freezes the funds in my account for the purchase ($108.00), this was on 5/19/08. I sent an email to PayPal to let them know the item had been shipped and was in route to the customer. I have not heard back from them, I have since sent two additional emails and the only thing I have gotten from PayPal is a note saying we are still trying to determine if the customer received the item. By my tracking with shipping service she received it on 5/21/08. This is currently 6/2/08 and they can not seem to find the answer.
I have been ripped off by the customer and PayPal, she has my expensive handbag and they have my money. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, to see if that will do any good. I think if I do not here anything within the next 2 1/2 weeks, I will have to file suit against the customer and PayPal. How are they allowed to get away with this? Is anyone else having the same problems with them? What can be done? PayPal claims to provide seller protection, however that is not the case at all. They could care less, they do as they please and get in no hurry to resolve a simple case.
Beware of PayPal, if you don't want to be ripped off, stay away from them!

Terrible service!
After paying in good faith via PayPal for a 'brand new' eBay item + shipping, I was sent the wrong item (and not new) by a Hong Kong seller. After notifying the seller of his goof up, he insisted that I pay the return shipping back to Hong Kong before he would issue a refund. Since the shipping the wrong item was not my fault or responsibility, I refused to pay return shipping for something I did not purchase. Why should I be financially liable and penalized for the seller's error? Besides, if I paid the return shipping I would actually be losing money from this failed eBay transaction - despite the refund! So I decided to escalate the dispute to PayPal's 'Resolution Center'.
In my view I was the injured party. I had paid the full price, and received nothing in return - except the added hassle of repackaging the item, taking off work to go to the Post Office and paying to send it half way around the world. Ridiculous. So I proposed that the seller have the item retrieved by UPS, FeDex or DHL.
But PayPal's deliberation was swift: they sided with the fraudulent seller stipulating that I should pay for the return shipping.
Apparently PayPal is biased towards Vendors/Sellers. The moral of the story is: If you buy something on eBay and receive the wrong item or not as represented and insist on a refund, YOU WILL LOSE MONEY. This is a completely hostile and antagonistic ecommerce transaction strategy for innocent consumers acting in good faith - and PayPal Resolution Center Policy SUPPORTS IT!!!

They held my money for 3 weeks after sale
PayPal held my money for 3 weeks after the sale of an item I sold on Ebay. PayPal gave me the run-around on 3 different times. So I filed a complaint with the State Attorney General Office where PayPal is located. I got my money in short order after that! PayPal is owned by Ebay and they had better get their act together real soon or a lot of people across the country are going to have bumper stickers that tell the whole story about Ebay and PayPal. It will not good public relations for Ebay or PayPal. That may become a fact!!!

Customer service are idiots
I was selling on ebay and using paypal for several years, I mainly sell during the holiday season.
On Dec 10, 2007 I sold an item that sold for $25.00 I promptly shipped out an got a tracking number, I keep all receipts, tracking numbers on file for problems that do occur during shipping. Two weeks later the item was returned back to me with "return to sender, no such address" stamped on it, I called pay-pal to inform them of this situation, they told me to fax in the receipt, a copy of the tracking number and a copy of the package to them for their investigation. I contacted the buyer and explained the problem and he wanted me to reship the item at my expense to the same address, I told him that I WOULDN'T because think about it if it was returned once it would be returned again.
The buyer made a claim on no shipment, so I called pay-pal again to remind them that they already had all the information about this issue, they told me that there will not be problems on this and they will get me the right address and they will make the buyer repay for shipment.
Two weeks later no response from pay-pal, I noticed that the money for the item was refunded, I contacted pay-pal they informed me that they ruled in favour of the buyer "because the buyer never received the item" I again informed them that they already had all the documentation from the shipment, they kept on saying "well the buyer never received the item" I asked them about the seller protection they again told me "the buyer never received they item"
Two months later pay-pal's collection service called me told me that I was $62.00 past due and they wanted the money. I refused to pay. Called pay-pal spoke with 2 of their senior reps, they informed me that my account was charged twice for this and that my account was past due and thats why they were calling me to collect, so I asked them why when my account already had a chargeback for the item they kept on telling me that the buyer never received the item and the buyer received the money for the chargeback. Hum what happened to the money I asked, they could never explain!!!
Simple math would tell you $25.00+$25.00 does not equal to $62.00 where’s the money at????
Obviously no one there knows either, why did I double charged for a chargeback and what happened to $12.00????
No one knows, no one can answer any questions, and no one cares.

$18.50 owed to me!
I am a merchant that uses PayPal's eCommerce (shopping cart) software and also use PayPal for processing the transactions.
I have a complaint against PayPal. I have lost $18.50 in a transaction due to a malfunction in PayPal's eCommerce software. I have an email from Billy, a supervisor in PayPal's call center, which acknowledges that there was a problem in PayPal's software which caused me to lose $18.50 in shipping and handling fee because it was added to the total amount invoice to the customer and not collected, even though the eCommerce software has worked properly for all other transactions over the past 7 years. I can provide the email from PayPal acknowledging the error in their software, yet they want me to collect the unbilled shipping fee from the customer instead of taking responsibility and paying for the shipping fee from PayPal's coffers.
My complaint was escalated to a person at the corporate office whose name is Gabriele. My conversation with him did not go well. At first, he said he would prepare a ticket for tech support to investigate whether or not there was a temporary problem at PayPal on how a transaction was executed but when I requested him to speak with Billy, too, who is a supervisor at PayPal call center, Gabriele got irritated and said he will not do that. I asked him why? He replied because that's his wish. He then changed his mind about investigating the problem further and decided to close the case.
I called PayPal again and was told by a representative that the case had been closed and there is nothing further PayPal is prepared to do.
