Paypal Ebay Transaction
I bought on ebay for a while and made lots of money. After making about 50k one year on ebay paypal sent me an email limiting my account until I gave up my list of wholesalers and contacts. I told paypalblows.org about this and seems as tho many people had the same problems and then just didn't answer the paypal email, called paypal and closed their accounts. They knew what was coming to them and so did I. I'll never use this service again, and do we really call it a service or do we call it a "money racket"?

Fake PayPal email
PayPal - fake PayPal email Beware of a fake PayPal website The phishing scam message shown above is typical of
many other fraudulent emails that target users of online payment service, PayPal. The scam email is formatted to look like
a genuine PayPal message and includes official looking logos. The message warns recipients that their PayPal account
will be suspended if they do not update their personal records. Recipients are instructed to click a link in the email to
update their account. The message uses HTML to disguise the link so that it resembles a genuine PayPal web address. If
the victim provides credit card details and clicks the "Submit" button, he or she is requested to provide other sensitive
personal information on subsequent pages of the fake web form.Information entered into the fake website can then be used
by the scammers to access the victim's genuine PayPal account, use the victim's credit card and possibly even steal the
victim's identity. Be wary of any email that asks you to click a link and provide sensitive personal information such as
passwords or credit card details. PayPal and other legitimate companies do not request such information from customers
in this way. To learn how to recognise phishing scams and effectively protect yourself from this sort of fraud, follow the link

Invaded my privacy
I am a US citzen born here and have only left the country once for a wekend in Canada 10 years ago. I am newbie to Paypal and thought it legit; only to find out they can unilaterally freeze your account and invade your credit card and bank account and privacy and send Equifax after you and all of this, according to "Rick" in their service department, is their right via the Patriot Act. His statemnt that they can monitor your activity like any bank ( although we have never had such a privacy invasion from a bank in the 52 years we have lived here since birth ! ) and his rude attitude clearly demonstrates a company out of control. Please do not fall victim to these people by using Paypal or Ebay as you give up your identity to them and they are obviously distributing your private information.

PayPal Unable To Match My Phone Number With My Account
Every time I call Paypal to discuss my account problems with them, their automated phone system prompts me to enter my phone number. After entering my phone number the system says that it “cannot match that phone number with any account”. When I finally reach a live person, that person can always verify that the phone number I have entered is the correct phone number for my account.
Paypal does not seem to be able to fix this very simple detail! Because of the difficulty of dealing with Paypal, I have decided to avoid using Paypal whenever possible. I am now asking eBay sellers for other means of payment for auctions that I am bidding on, and they are always quick to condemn Paypal and offer to accept checks, money orders, etc.

Does Not Investigate Fraudulent Claims
I sold a very small item to a buyer on ebay. The buyer left great feedback for the auction, saying how quickly I had shipped the item. A couple of days later, however, the buyer opened a dispute through paypal saying they had not received the item!
On a hunch I contacted other sellers that have had dealings with this same ebay buyer, and was told that the buyer did this same thing or similar to them as well. This person(s) is committing fraud, and I have highlighted this to paypal but apparently they don’t want to know about it.
PayPal is insisting that I must prove that I shipped the item. The problem with this is that even though I have the receipt for the shipment, it does not have the forwarding address on it. This is because I had to do it at the postage machine, because the wait time at the post office counter is usually over 30 minutes long (I only get 30 minutes for lunch).
Paypal is saying that even though the buyer has left feedback saying that they received the item, they will not accept that as proof. Also, after expaining the whole situation, the customer service advisor advised me to contact the buyer! I nearly threw my phone out of the window. Had he not been listening to a word I said??
I feel that this person will get away with conning alot of people, and ebay and paypal do not care. I got a receipt for postage and proof they have received the item, but paypal is still trying to make me pay up!

Not responding to dispute
I ordered perfume from fragrancex.com on 10 November 2010. It is now 20 January 2011 and have not yet received my order.
I submitted a complaint with PayPal and received the following email in reply- Link To Email
It has been a month, and I still have not received my order or a resolution for the dispute I submitted to PayPal.

Sellers be warned…PayPal did me real dirty
Everybody seems so concerned about buying a bogus item. But what happens when a seller sells a perfectly good, as described item, just to have the buyer file a PayPal complaint for no good reason?
I’ll tell you. The buyer gets to keep the item, and PayPal negates the sale and comes after the seller for the money they have refunded the buyer. And when you try to explain to them that the buyer has the item and they need to reverse the refund, it falls on deaf ears- and then they turn you over to collections.
I’ve done about $75K in business through PayPal in the last 2 years without incident, and before this incident I had 100% positive ebay feedback. Paypal’s dispute process is a joke. So a buyer can blantently steal my item, then file a false complaint so they can get the item for free? And then PayPal backs them up??
Sellers be warned…PayPal did me real dirty.

Totally Lacks Seller Protection
Paypal has horrible seller protection. I had a dispute through ebay from a buyer stating they never got an item they purchased. The buyer NEVER contacted me to let me know they hadn’t received it, rather they waited 6 weeks and then filed a dispute.
I didn’t get tracking info, my own fault. However, I have 100% positive feedback (triple the amount of feedback as the buyer) but PayPal is telling me too bad, you have to refund the money.
I can’t even get in contact with a real person at PayPal customer service, just the same generic response when I try to email them. I will NEVER do business with PayPal again.

I Was Accused Of Fraud And PayPal Limited My Account
I now have about $3, 600 in my Paypal account. I was selling on ebay and everyone was happy, I never received a single negative feedback.
But when my balance reached $2, 000 PayPal limited my account and told me I had to go to the resolution center, and that they need some information from me. So I submitted all the information they had asked for, and when I tried to login the next day my account said
“you have been permanently limited and you will be able to withdraw your remaining funds in 180 days”.
By then my balance had reached the $3, 600. PayPal has obviously just ripped me off. I can only guess that it was because of someone bought an item from me, then filed a fraudulent dispute in order to get their money back. I bought the item from Sears, and even have the receipt!
PayPal is siding with buyers even if they are scammers. Don’t ever use PayPal, they will rip off and don’t even care! They are refusing to remove the limit no matter what evidence I provide.
I even received and email saying that my account is back to normal after being reviewed. so i logged in after about 3 hours, but the limit was still there! When I called them then they told me to redo the appeal, which i did, and still my account is limited!

Don’t Use PayPal For A Merchant Account!
They don’t protect sellers at all! In fact, they told me on the phone that because I paid for the Website Payment Pro, I am NOT eligible for seller protection, but if I had used their FREE service (paypal standard) I would have had seller protection!
I have 2 chargebacks against me from the same buyer…obviously fraud yet they ruled against me!! I had tracking information delivery confirmation and screenshots of the buyer’s IP address! Apparently this is not enough, and I am liable for $2K and loss of the products!! Even when requesting chargeback documentation from Paypal, I was told I am not allowed to obtain any of the information. So how do I know the chargeback is even legitimate and not Paypal making this up???
