freezing funds
Paypal has frozen funds, which placed a financial burden to fulfill orders. I fulfilled the orders, with tracking number, have 100% positive feedback. I will owe, as of the last day of the month, over $20 for ebay fees, which are above and beyond the fees already paid to paypal. Together, they get at least 30% of sales. Anyhow, I'm sure the hold will STILL be there come the end of the month. This is what I plan to do-if paypal/ebay refuses to lift the bogus freeze of funds on my account, I will block them from taking the over $20 out of my account at the end of the month. This would cause my account to go into the negative. This would mean, in the end I HAD TO LOSE MONEY, AND ACTUALLY END UP PAYING FOR PEOPLE TO HAVE THE ITEMS I SOLD. I KNOW this is another scam by paypal in an attempt to make my account go negative, so they can charge additional fees. I will put a block on my bank account, and I will even pay to do that. Paypal needs another class action lawsuit over the continued mishandling of funds.
NEVER, EVER, EVER USE PAYPAL, if you do, do not think for a SECOND that the items you sell on ebay will make you money. You will end up LOSING money, and then lose money again, when ebay collects the fees. When you are selling, be sure that you not only have money to pay the shipping out of pocket, but also to cover ebay fees, since paypal will freeze your account, making it impossible for you to have access to your funds. I will never EVER use paypal or ebay again. Use craig's list, seriously, or go to a pawn shop. By the time you pay for-paypal fees, ebay fees, shipping, plus going negative in you account, you will end up paying ebay and paypal so you can give your items away.
This is bogus.

Disputes
oh man I got scammed to bad by this guy. Says he will email me gift card info then mail the actual card when i pay- so i did and of course one of the cards were non existent and the other had less than 4 bucks in it. Basically I paid 60 bucks to get 4 bucks instead of 100 bucks. So i file a complaint to paypal. They don't do jack and basically tell me too bad. Found out that two people were involved in this: [email protected] who lives in Florida with a phone number of 3524609720 and his buddy [email protected] who lives in Sunnyvale, CA of course the guy wont answer phone, email or text messages.

Not fair to seller
I'm very disappointed by paypal with their dispute system. I sent package using DHL and clearly tracking number. I put it on dispute as proof of shipment. I gave link to track it. Why paypal simple ignores my tracking number and still desn't want to try to track it? Paypal gives favor to buyer.
Do you paypal really professionally handle dispute by ignoring given tracking number? I need explanation from this case.

riped off
You are all wrong. Paypal is GREAT... Here's why and how...
All you need to rip someone off ( esp. a family member, like your Grandmother ) is an email account, access to their usps mailbox and access to your grandmother's bank account.
Just set up a paypal account, point it at your dear old Grandmama's bank account, wait for the verification to come to her mailbox, "...that's ok grandma I'll get the mail for you." AND VIOLA you are in. Get online and help yourself to all the dough in your dear, old grandmother's bank account...
EASY AS PIE...

PayPal Does Not Protect Buyers
Buyer Beware!
Do Not Use PayPal to purchase goods or services.
They state they have a "Buyer Protection" Policy, but it is truly bogus.
They will not go after fraudulent compaines selling products that is NOT what was described.
Purchase ONLY by credit card. At least credit cards will chargeback, if it is a fraudlent company selling bogus goods or services.
Again, do not use PayPal payment services to purchase goods.

Non-Delivery and No Contact
Stamp and Shout has not delivered items I ordered 3 weeks ago. I have repeatedly attempted contact and they will not respond to phone calls or emails.
I paid thru Paypal, who is also being of no help. I complained about non-delivery over 10 days ago, but Paypal tells me that I have to wait another 10 days for a refund. I even gave their representative the phone number for Stamp and Shout, explaining that either no one answered, or you got and answering machine that didn't even identify the business. Three different Paypal representatives have refused to immediately refund my charge card even though the seller has made absolutely no attempt to contact either myself or Paypal. If Paypal and eBay can't stop committing fraud against consumers they should be put out of business.

fraud
I sell my CD's thru several companies who in turn send my money to me thru PayPal
CdBaby sent me some money thru PayPal.
It wasn't much but it was the second time I had gotten paid
at least it was the only one published.
I think this is some kind of Bank. (PayPal)
I was online with a company for which I signed up for a 3 day free trial which I cancelled at proper time.
While I was working PayPal filled in this number on my drop down PayPal online pay.
Now I don't have a debit card with them, all I have is a credit card with GE money which is a PayPal buyer Credit card to use on line, they did not charge this one, it was a fake one.
They took all the money from my account, I had made from CdBaby plus they say I owe them about $100.oo.
I told them I did not order anything and they said they had to keep charging as long as that client kept sending the bills and would start charging my regular checking account for this.
I told them I could stop it, which I stopped payment to them from my regular checking account and reversed all checks to them and closed the link from my bank to them.
They claim I still owe the money but I don't intend to pay them as they stole my money and I didn't make the debt.
They call and harrasse me but I don't answer anymore.
They sent me an e-mail and said they would quit harressing me if I paid them
It's a shame you can't trust someone to collect your money from the music companies and be honest about it.

Stop The Crooks!
With the sudden increase in "small amounts of billings" usually under $2.00 allegedly coming from genuine companies such as SatNSound and KAHphoto to name a few, that are now popping up on people's accounts for services never rendered from Companies that are stating their identity has been stolen; it would seem to me that PayPal and other affected users would notify the FBI, with the details, as well as the routing numbers for where these "to be collected funds" were to be sent/deposited. Instead there appears to be a threshhold for what constitutes "worth their time and effort". It is more cost effective I guess for all of us to cancel cards and get them re-issued, than for them to realize that 1, 000 affected people is over $1, 000 and once these crooks see that they can get away with a "mini" amount, there is little doubt that they will set a higher "goal" for withdrawal next time. While PayPal seems by the posted BLOGS to be the most widely affected, I have seen today, a similar Bank of America blog for a similar issue. In a majority of cases Ebay seems to have been utilized (which could or could not be a link with the popularity of the site), PayPal is by BLOG the most affected (to this point) and online payments, donations, purchases recently made (Aug/Sep/Oct/Nov) seem to account again for the majority of these that share similar patterns. So why doesn't PayPal, knowing of the unauthorized attempts to defraud, get Pro-Active with the authorities and simply nail these crooks?

Made a mistake
I posted an ebay item to buyer, in perfect condition, as described, by special delivery, to be received on 11.04.09, i sent e-mails requesting buyer to confirm receipt and asking if the item arrived in proper condition, i had no response, so after a week, i got her details and rang her, she confirmed it had been received on 11.04.09 and that it was as described and was very grateful, she said she'd been having trouble with passwords and hadn't been able to leave feedback, but would do so asap, after a week still nothing, i got suspiscious and opened a non payment dispute, she had paid by paypal, but not released the funds, immediately upon my opening the dispute i received to angry e-mails from her, asking me why i'd done this, (no problems with password now then?) i explained why, and instead of leaving my feedback, she opened an "item significantly not as described, internally damaged" dispute. Bearing in mind, i have proof of her being in possession of the item for 2 weeks, and her admitting it was in good condition, and that she was very happy with it, paypal gave her a refund, and have left me to receive a broken item back, (they managed to investigate properly within 24 hours) what can i do about this, i am poor and don't need to get screwed over like this. i have 100% positive feedback, and she doesn't, and her negative feedback is for similar things.
