I've bought a 1000VA UPS from PC Game & Computer World, Centurion Branch. About a year later the UPS failed and I took it back to PC Game World so they can send it back to the manufacturer for repairs.
At first they didn't like it because the UPS has been opened before. Normally this would void any warranty, but how else do you replace the battery??? But finally they agreed to send it back to the manufacturer.
5 Months later they have not given me a SINGLE phone call! I also phoned in once and on anohter occation I physically went to the shop to hear if they got it back. Nothing. I don't understand how they forget about the repair orders. And it doesn't cost them a cent! The manufacturer delivers to their shop so they only have to give it to them and make sure to get it back.
Today I called them again and got a bit loud over the phone. So at least they agreed to give me a new one, but I feel this is utter poor customer support.
