They resolved my problem...
I purchased a computer monitor and waited about 12 days for shipping, I received it timely, however, it was not the one I ordered, They post on website that they reserve the right to substitute equivalent or better products at no additional cost. So I was aware of this, but what they sent me was a lesser quality monitor and certainly not equivalent or better. After reading all these complaints it greatly worried me, but, I contacted d Kim at [email protected] He got back to me quickly and was eager in helping me resolve this. I'm a real person, and I can honestly tell you that Mr Kim resolved my problem beyond my expectation. I think a lot of people ordering with this extended credit may be to anxious in wanting to receive the items to quickly, and I think there is a lot of buyers remorse after placing the order. Again I can truly tell you and anyone considering ordering from Peach Direct, that if you contact [email protected], he is there to make things right. I have been treated fairly and I just wanted to let the consumers know they are a very helpful company, just contact him to help with your questions or problem.

Rip Off Direct should be new name!
First I received a letter telling me I was approved for $2300.00 credit limit from GE Money Bank and offered the latest luxury goods with payment plans and no interest til next year. I said I will try a small purchase so I ordered Eternity by Calvin Klein for Men for $55.00 plus $8.00 shipping and handling! This company after two weeks of ordering still did not ship out the item I could have gone down to Walmart or Macy's and picked up and had that night! The $8.00 shipping and handling isn't cheap on something so small. I can understand if this was a "built to order" notebook computer but come on even QVC, HSN, or Ebay people ship faster than two to three weeks out!

Next came to phone call to Peach Direct and I was put on hold and told they would take care of canceling the order! Next day it still was showing as pending on PD online. I called again and this time the girl said it would be canceled but it would take 2 to 3 days for it to show up in system as canceled. I said I want to talk to supervisor and she asked why? I said I want to talk to supervisor and she put me on hold. Two minutes later she said it was immediately canceled and it would show on system immediately. I said I wanted to still talk to supervisor to tell them she is playing games with me! Amazingly the phone disconnected! I called back and supervisor told me her "wonderful" employee followed policy and my order was now canceled. I said I have $2300.00 to spend and will NOT because of trouble I have with this small item and she said where am I going to get a laptop for low payments? I said QVC offers laptops and 4 easy payments and probably ships out in less than a week. She didn't seem too happy with me!

Lessons learned from Peach Direct - 1. shipping is expensive and not refundable 2. customer service is shady and hard to cancel items 3. items are shipped out late so you are charged by GE Money Bank in hopes you become delinquent setting off late fees, 20% restocking fee, higher interest rate of 28.99 fixed with first late payment, and overlimit fee of $30 plus you are responsible catching UPS the day of TV delivery or will be sent back and owe $300 restocking fee on a $1500.00 TV and still get no TV. 4. items may be substituted for equal or better without notifying you if it is ok to do this - lets say you order a Bose system and get Sony - you must pay 20% restocking fee because there is nothing wrong with Sony item. 5. Shop at QVC, HSN, EBay, or Walmart.com because they are cheaper and have the latest products. 6. Read the fine print and terms and conditions carefully.

Lastly while doing a google search on Peach Direct I noticed an article on Oracle systems installing the latest computer technology to Peach Direct. The company that runs Peach Direct is eCapital Financial Corporation. You might find this article very interesting!

No merchandise ever sent!
I received an approval form in the mail from this company and ordered a computer. To make a long story short, I never received any merchandise from this company and they are billing me through GE CAPITAL and are ruining my credit. They are reporting my account past due to credit agencies when I have filled out numerous forms stating no merchandise was received. GE CAPITAL AND PEACH DIRECT ARE WORKING TOGETHER SCAMMING PEOPLE. They are in the process of ruing my credit. Whatever you do, stay away from both of these companies.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to handle this or the name of a good lawyer I would appreciate the help. Maybe we can file a class action suit against both of them. GE should be ashamed of themselves!

Complete crooks!
I placed an order with Peach Direct on Dec. 5th 2006 for an XBox 360 and a pair of Christian Dior Sunglasses... I called numerous times to find out where my order was, as I was already paying on two products with GE Money bank that I did not have. I was told that "because of the holidays" it was taking longer than usual and that I should wait the full 21 business days...

Then when the 21 business days came and went, I called back and was fed another load of lies, saying that the product was being shipped directly from Microsoft, and that they "ran out of product" (ha, ha) Ok... now when I brought the fact that the sunglasses were not made by Microsoft to their attention, I was fed yet another load of lies! I called them back a week later and the rep I talked to told me that my complaints have not even been filed with customer service! I was furious!!! She told me she would do it, I asked to speak to a supervisor and when I did, they "assured me that all would be taken care of" and that "By Friday" I would get a call back from customer service letting me know where the products were... That week passed then another... then I called back and to my "surprise" (ha, ha) I was told that sometimes it takes them a little longer to return calls...and that I should be patient?!

I let them know that my order was going on 2 months now not having received my products! So, of course I was given another load of "bs"... I finally got the XBox on Jan 31st... and guess what? It was defective! My husband is a computer analyst and KNOWS computer and electronic equipment...there is no getting around it, the product is faulty! I called them to notify them and asked what they would be doing about it, that night... I spoke to the most incredibly ignorant supervisor who was incredibly rude and he told me that the best they could do it send a return label?! Then I asked how long that would take? He said anywhere from 7-10 days... then I asked since I had to wait sooo long and since I was already paying on this product that they send me a replacement product immediately and when I get the return label I would return their defective product...He told me no, we cannot do that, you will have to wait for the label then you will send it back and then we will send out a replacement product...

I asked how long this would all take? He said anywhere from 6-8 wks more! I called today Feb. 5th and once again I spoke to the most ignorant people on earth, in which I was outright called a lier, told I was being too impatient and I lost it this time! I canceled my entire order, (the sunglasses by the way... have not even shipped!) and when I asked for a number to the executive office, I was told there was none??? I informed them that I would be in touch with GE Money bank to file a dispute of these charges and I was also contacting the better business bureau today to file a grievance with them as well!

Peach Direct is the most fraudulent, most ridiculously bogus company I have ever come across... and I STRONGLY urge anyone who even considers doing business with them to be cautious, at the very least... By the way, I informed the woman I spoke to today, supervisor, of all these complaints that I have run across on this site, and she disregarded it as though it was no big deal... didn't even try to make my situation right!

Fraudulent service
Has anyone been totally taken by Peach Direct? This company is major fraud. We have had nothing but problems. The product took a month to get here. The items got lost in transit. I had to try and track them myself and was successful no thanks to the company. Then, they charged a load of money for extended warranties that I never received. their customer service reps don't care about their jobs at all. Buyer BEWARE!!! stay away!!! PS. If anyone knows of some webspace to build a warning page, please help me out if you got screwed too.

They are scam artists!
I ordered from peach direct on December 9th, 2006. I ordered 2 xbox 360's and a 19inch HP computer monitor. My order status has been order pending shipment for 2 weeks. So I started to get suspicious and did a search on the company name. After reading all of the complaints about the company not shipping your order and all of the run around they give you and all of the excuses and lies, I called peach direct. They started feeding me the lies that I read they gave other customers. When I brought this to the customer service rep's attention, she immediately began to get nasty with me. Saying that the disclosure says that it will take 3 business weeks, then 21 days, then it will be shipped by the 3rd week (not business week). When I asked her why they are lying to their customers and telling them 2-3 weeks, and their disclosure says something else, she refused to answer me. When I requested to talk to a supervisor, she put me on hold, and came back on giving me another lie, and refused to let me speak with a supervisor. When I told her that was fine, I would call back later, and in the mean time I would call my attorney. She started yelling and I hung up. I will call back later, and I will continue to call daily or even a couple times a day. Don't get sucked in!!! If you get a letter or approval throw it AWAY!!!

Customer service is crap!
I was suckered into ordering from Peach Direct. I was excited that I finally had the digital camera I have always wanted. Well here it is 1 month later, and I still have not received my merchandise. When you call customer service, you get the same response. "Order is pending" My favorite is not once but twice I was told that the shipping department does not update their records regularly and it may already be on the way as we speak. My response was I was already told that two weeks ago.

I informed them that if I did not receive my merchandise by Christmas, they were to cancel the order. In the meantime, I have been billed by GE Money Bank for products I have never received. I called GE Money Bank and they told me Peach Direct would be the company I need to call.

I want off the merry go round. My next call is to the Attorney General. Anyone want to jump aboard?
