I was told about this new pennybidd auctionsite, the kind where you purchase bids at about 50-75 cents per bid and use them towards bidding on the site. Well at first I thought I would have trouble winning with so much traffic on the site, (or could it be ghost traffic) but little did I know..I would win 3 auctions within the time frame of a couple days! I was super happy and told all my buddies to join and bid! The site www.pennybidd.com states that prizes shipout within 24hrs of winning them and after numerous unanswered emails and phone replies stating that my prizes were on their way...over a month had passed, I won my first item Feb 28th and have not received a damn thing!! Oh yeah, I did receive something; just a few days ago-A refund for my original bids purchased- and a brief explanation stating that I am ineligible to bid!! Why? I don't want that! I want my prizes that total $300.00! Their reply was "Your email address is similar to one of our website employee names, thus making you ineligible." Wow! I do not even know who they are talking about! Ridiculous!
I am an avid bidder on real auction sites for many years and have never had any problems until now and with so many Pennybidd auction sites popping up now, I'm sure there are many looking to scam the consumer such as this site! I would totally recommend you avoid this fraudulent website at all costs!!
