For a few months, I would receive calls from this particular number. It was all times of the day. I work at night, so I sleep in the day. They would not leave any messages. I could hear several people talking in the background, and it would go on until the recorder ran out of time. If I called back, the same thing would happen...you could hear people in the back, as if the phone were off the hook. On July 31, 2008, I had a message when I returned home from work. The message was left at 9 am that morning. I have the message still on the recorder. Which I need to record, so that it does not get erased..since I have teenagers!
The message was left by a male. His message was as follows...please excuse the language..."Pick up the Fucken line, Bitch!!!"
I called and asked to speak to the Supervisor. They sent me to a man named, Richard Boggs. I told him about the call, and he said that he would like to hear it. Since I was on the phone that is connected to the machine, it would not play. I asked for his direct number so that I could call him on my cell, and play the message for him. When I called, he did not answer...so I waited a few min and called again...once more, no answer. So, I left a message along with the message left on my recorder. He never called me back to this day. I wrote a letter to the President of the company via Internet...no return message or call.
A week of so later, I received yet another call from this number. I answered it...it was a man, and he asked for me by name. I asked what company he was from...he said that he was to collect from a credit card that I stopped paying in 2006. I told him, that as far as I remember, I did not have one that fit that description...and that if I did, it was all in consultation as of 2006...That is when he got nasty! he asked..."Didn't you wonder who was calling you??? I told him, they never left a message! he said.."I will give you until tomorrow to get a hold of the company and call me back!' this was appox 9 pm...on Thursday! " I told him that I doubted if I could get a hold of them to do it that fast! so, he said he would make it until Monday!
he was so rude! I asked him if HE was the one that called and left that nasty message! he started yelling! I told him what was said, and he went off! I am sure that they have it documented when calls were made, the date, and time as well...he told me that they did not! I explained that I had called, and spoke to a Richard Boggs...he went on to tell me that there was no one there in that company named Boggs...He got so nasty, I hung up.
They have not called back since. This was uncalled for! there was NO excuse for that call(s).
If they wanted me to call them back, they should have left a detailed message!!! I STILL do not know what the call was! I DO have an attorney named Hess Kennedy, taking care of the consolidation. It was because of a divorce, in which he did not pay the bills, and said that he did. When I got on my feet a few months later, I arranged to get this all done.
I would like something done about this. I would like to press charges as well. Please tell me what I have to do, to prepare for this action...
