This is in relation to the horrible experience I had while visiting the hotel Perola Dos Anjos in Lisbon. I would sincerely ask booking.com to have a surprise visit to check the condition of the hotel. Additionally, booking.com should also have a background check before any hotel is posted in booking.com portal.
1. First of all, this is not a hotel, it is just a floor where in some rooms are given on rent.
2. Bathroom is shared although it is nowhere mentioned in the site.
3. All the furniture, bed etc are aged old and shabby.
4. Not even a glass is provided to have drinking water. On request, a plastic glass was given.
5. Door locks are broken.
6. Towels remain unchanged.
7. In the shared bathroom, shower curtain is broken.
8. No wardrobe is available in the room.
9. The guy has absolutely no idea about the Lisbon city and city tour related information. The only thing he knows is the location of one information centre and that's all.
10. No arrangement for breakfast.
I would like to draw the attention of booking.com in this regard so that such hotels should be permanently removed from your portal. This gives a wrong impression not only about the city but also about the standards of hotel availability in your portal. I am a regular user of booking.com since 2008 and never had such an awful experience.
