I'm a student on unemployment and all too often I've checked my account, caught a negative balance and reconciled it, check my account again to ensure I'm back in the positives, confirm it only for the next day for transactions to be rearranged in a way that not only do I still get an overdraft fee, but multiple because of the rearranging of transactions! THIS TIME, the OVERDRAFT fee was posted PREVIOUS to the actual charges that those fees supposedly caused. Actually, had it NOT been for the overdraft, I wouldn't have overdraft!!! I'm so sick of them taking half of my check for NOTHING and THEN tell my I'm ineligible for a refund!! How am I ineligible to have YOUR bad practices rectified? I've had all of 3 refunds and have absorbed HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS in fees they "couldn't refund me". NOBODY PAYS THIS MUCH TO MAINTAIN AN ACCOUNT!! What's the use of opening a student free checking account of I'm going to be charged over $300 a year!!! I want to see this addressed publically, possibly a class action suit!!! IT'S UNFAIR and bad business practice!
