My parents recently returned home from the east coast and flew US Airways. Their flight was going fine until they reached the Sacramento airport. After their flight landed, they went to retrieve their bags from the baggage claimage but were dissappointed that their bags were not there. Understanding that this sometimes occurrs, they went the the US Airways baggage claim dept and spoke to the representative working there. They said her name tag read Doris. They explained their concern and knowing my parents, were extremely cordial. As they continued to explain their concern, they were interupted by the attendant and treated as though they were interupting her time, and as if it was an effort to assist them. This unprofessional demeanor definately turned them away from ever flying with US Airways again. They mentioned that their flight was uncomplicated until this moment. This was 100% unprofessionalism. They have mentioned that they will never fly with US Airways again. What happened to costumer service in this world where retaining every costumers in this economy counts.
