Inaccurate invoice
The prices are actually about the same as if you go to a regulare B&M pet store. The difference is that they advertise free shipping (which shows up as $0 on the invoice) but when I received my credit card statement, it did not correlate with my invoice. After calling PetcareRX, they told me that they charged me for shipping on top of my invoice because one of the item was heavier than they anticipated. WARNING: Make sure you check your credit card stement to see if it matches your invoice.

Overall, this business doesn't have great prices (for being an on-line retailer) and not worth the hassle of buying from.

There are much better e-retailers out there such as dog.com and others.

Incorrect order
I will never shop at Petcare Rx again- they kept calling to say they couldn't get authorization on my credit card ( not true according to my credit card comapn;also i had zero balance)

they split my order thereby reducing my frequent flyer miles i was trying to get

I got a zillion emails from them- "your order is shipped, " "we can't get authorization;your vet hasn't called ( he had). Also, i originally ordered from them to get free flyer miles which are now screwed up.

Double Charging and refusing to refund
This company randomly started charging me twice and three times for an order that was only ever delivered once. I placed an order for heartworm meds for my two dogs on May 12 for a grand total of $22.48. I was informed 2 weeks later that the Vet would only approve a 6 month order. So, the Vet approved and I waited for the shipment. It never arrived. I called on May 24th and was advised the Vet never approved it even though I was already told they did. So I did a conference call with the vet and PetCareRx where the item was approved. I was told it would be sent out immediately. I come back from vacation on June 1 to find no medicine for the dogs. When I call, I am informed the Vet needs to approve the order. Hmmmm. they did, TWICE already and once with me on the phone. So I call again...I am then told they somehow do have the authorization and are sending it out. By now my dogs are late for their meds, putting their health at risk. I tell them they are sending it overnight delivery and I am not paying for it. The rep agrees and I recieved the medicine two days later with the original invoice amount of $22.48 included. I was charged the amount of $22.48 to my credit card on June 3. NOW...on June 16th a mysterious charge appears on my account for $44.48. When I call I am told it is for the order of heartworm mediciation. I already paid for that on June 3. By now I have five (5) calls into this company and on my sixth am told a Supervisor is not available but the rep is sending a message to upper managment to have someone call me. NO ONE EVER DOES CALL BACK and on June 21 a credit appears on my account for $17.99, the amount of the expedited shipping. So they have refunded the shipping amount BUT CHARGED ME TWICE FOR MEDICATION that I ONLY RECIEVED ONCE and for some other random amount NOT the $22.48 on the invoice. So I call for the SEVENTH time and am told AGAIN that supervisors are unavailable. That is unacceptable and I wait 20 minutes for one to finally get on the phone with me. After explaining the situation again she (Gabriella) isn't getting that I was charged on June 3rd and should not have been charged on June 16. Then she says "So you don't want the order then, right ?" OMG YOU SENT IT AND CHARGED ME FOR IT ON JUNE 3rd? What part of this is hard to follow?!?!? So now I am waiting AGAIN for another refund of the $26.48 to be in addition to the $17.99 which would total the $44.48 they wrongly charged me for an order I already paid for 3 weeks earlier.

I will never trust this company again, I urge others not to as well. Don't trust them with your credit card information as they just charge what they feel like and you can never get someone to help you refund it. I have filed complaints with my bank and am looking into other areas I can file official complaints with as well.

Horrible customer service
I ordered medication for my two dogs. Somehow Petcare Rx switched the orders which caused my vet to deny the order. Instead of contacting me about the issue, Petcare Rx did nothing. They sat on my order while they had my $100.00 in their hands. When I called as a follow up to see why I hadn't received the order they finally explained that the vet had denied it but that they had recently gotten the order straightened out, however, they still hadn't shipped it. I explained that the medication is very important for one of my dogs and asked that they expidite the shipment. I was told that they would do this but only if I paid an additional $20...for THEIR mistake.

The customer service reps were awful - I might as well have been talking to a wall. They had no interpersonal skills or ability to speak as a rational human being. Everything they said was highly scripted - one of the reps actually had difficulty reading her script and kept tripping over her words causing her to re-read her scripted reply to me.

I will never use Petcare Rx again and will tell everyone I know not to use them. (P.S. I operate a dog daycare so have access to many pet owners).
