theft
The Petro Gas station managers at 5710 111 Street Northwest
Edmonton, AB T6H 3G1 are encouraging their employees to steal from customers. They steal from customers and add the money into the till so that they are not short on cash because of their incompetence. I have talked to the managers directly about this problem and they just got angry and defensive rather then doing something positive about the problem and talking to their employees about it. I learned from some of my neighbors that they have experienced the same problem and that even the manager at this store has ripped them off. I would advise staying away from this store. All the employees are very slick and they will distract you so you do not even realize you got ripped off until you leave the store.

Bad Quality Gas
On Sunday Oct.24, 2010 around 10:00 am I fill my car at that gas station after that my can was hardly move and was shaking I think the gas which I fill was mixed with other cheap material, could be water or alcohol. I will never use Petro Canada in my life again.

Rude employee and foul language
It was a very busy day at the gas stations and I was waiting in line from one side of the pumps (the same side as all the other cars were) when another car decides to wait for the same line from the opposite side. When I drove my car into the pump, the opposite car drove in together and we ended up halfway stuck at the pump. The lady came out of the car and immediately called me to be a bully (I'm also female btw) and went inside to tell the attendant that I was bullying. The attendant, Kareem, came out and told me to move my car. I stated my case and told him I was waiting in line like everyone else. I said he cannot take her side just cause she said she was there first. He then went back into the store and left us standing there cause neither of us was going to budge. 10 minutes later he came rushing out with a very angry attitude, walked right past her car and then yelled at me and told me to get out of his property and he doesn't want my business. At that point, I didn't care about the gas but I felt he was unfair since he didn't say a word to the other person to tell her to leave. I said that I will leave when he tells her to and he said "I don't give a SHIT!" and "Get the HELL out of here." I told him to watch his language and then he threatened to call the police. I said if he does that then he better record both of our license plate and not just mine. He kept yelling at me and telling me multiple times to "get the HELL out." I asked for his manager and that I was going to make a formal complaint. He didn't care, continued to yell and again told me to "get the HELL out."

This person made me think that he was prejudice towards me as he already made up his mind I was wrong right from the beginning. He was very polite to that woman the whole time while he yelled at me. I somehow felt he just didn't like me based on the way I look and he didn't even bother to care if I was right or not.

I'm holding online to complain to Petro about this incident but I know it's not going to go anywhere. I hope everyone reads this and know how awful this station is and to avoid this location at all costs. Don't expect customer service from them, but instead be ready to get yelled at!!!

I was in the petro canada yesterday sept 9/2010 i used my petro points card to have a car wash
not knowing the amount of points that the teller had'nt told me!, and my concern here is that i got
pushed in by getting a lousie 12$ car wash but had been taked for over 300$ worth of savings,
this is my complaint to the petro company that i was not aware of the points that were tooken off which

Racist employee
Me and my friend wanted to buy some milk one night, so we drove to this Petro Canada gas station on McCowan and Steeles at around 12:30 am on Saturday, July 24, 2010. My friend (who used to work at that gas station), told me that there was this "nice and calm" guy by the name of AMGAD who worked the weekday night shifts over there. As soon as I drove to that gas station and pulled up near the front customer parking area where AMGAD could see all the pumps and the entry to the store, he then looked at me and gave me an ANGRY LOOK. At first I thought that maybe he was tired of his work but that was not the case because as soon as my friend got out of the car, he then signalled at AMGAD just to say "Hi!" to him but then AMGAD went over the intercom and ANGRILY looked at my friend and said to the both of us: "GET THE FUCK OFF THE PREMISES!" I was then shocked to hear what he said to us but my friend didn't seemed shocked otherwise cause then he thought that AMGAD was "maybe joking with him." But then AMGAD again went over to the intercom and then gave a SERIOUS LOOK at my friend and said to him angirly "GET YOU AND YOUR FRIEND OFF THE FUCKING PREMISES NOW!" So we drove off and got milk at another store. After we bought the milk from the other store, my friend told me that he couldn't believe of what AMGAD just said to him and that he knew AMGAD for about 4 months (AMGAD was actually working at that gas station for about 4 MONTHS which makes him a "new guy" for that location.) and that he never fought or argued with AMGAD and that he was pretty "cool" with him. However, I also found out that this AMGAD wasn't so "nice and calm"after all when my friend told me that whenever he went over there to visit AMGAD and a BLACK CUSTOMER would come in and leave, he would constantly harass my friend if he "knew" that Black guy or not and why they always come late at that time. I then noticed that AMGAD was racist and prejudiced against his African Canadian customers. So this why I am writing this complaint, to battle against racism and prejudice at Petro Canada. I urge anyone who visits this location or anyone who is reading this complaint to call head office or the owner of this Petro Canada franchise and complain about AMGAD's evil and ignorant actions towards the African Canadian community in Markham, Ontario. The owner or general manager of that Petro Canada location should teach Amgad of how to properly deal with the customers and if he (AMGAD) fails to learn or comply to the instructions given to him by his superiors, then he should be dismissed or resign. I will not tolerate any racism or prejudice when I want to buy something from some store. Petro Canada should know that as well; that racism and prejudice is NOT tolerated in the business world. I WILL NEVER go to that location to fill up on gas or buy something from the store OR ANY OTHER PETRO CANADA location for that matter. Petro Canada has just lost a customer (me) because of AMGAD'S racist remarks and attitude towards his customers and Petro Canada will continue to lose more customers IF they don't do something about it.

Not environment friendly
Petro Canada is now charging $1.00 for air to fill tires. That is not only a rip-off, it is environmentally unfriendly as consumers might not fill their tires and could use more gas as a result.

I refuse to fill my car with gas at any gas station that has the audacity and environmentally unfriendly policy of charging customers for air!

I actually don't have any more to say than this, but need to add a few words to satisfy the 100 word requirement. Ooops, only 87 words, so here are a few more to satisfy the requirement.

Charge for air
The local Petro Canada station at Scott Road and 80th in Delta has recently been renovated. I went in just after it had re-opened to put air in my tire that was a little flat. To my surprise, they now have a $1.00 charge to put air in tires. I have gone to Petro Canada for years, but I will no longer support this company, but will take my business where air is free.

Double Charging at the Pump
This is a letter of complaint for what I believe to be a poorly operated and disrespectful gas station management servicing the public. I fueled today at the station Petro-Canada 2830 16th Avenue in Markham ontario. While preparing to fuel, I inserted Petro card then amex card, card was accepted and entered receipt required. Fueled up to $7. Aweaited receipt which never came out. I entered the kiosk which only had one employee. He said I needed to pay because my card was not good. I just picked up the new card from AMEX 30 minute prior. I said tha there was nothing wrong with my card, he said that I had not put the pump back properly, he checked and it was fine. Then said that my card was rejected (this in front of 10 other customers. Pretty humiliating. Then said that he needed the 70.00. I asked for a receipt saying that the machine had rejected my card which he could not do. I would not give him the 70.00 unless I had a receipt. Since this was going nowhere I called Amex who advised that the card had been approved on the charge. Then handed the phone to the employee. Still could not be resolved but they wanted to charge me twice. Be would call his manager I was told to stand aside while he waited on other customers. the entire issue took over 45 minutes. In the end, I spoke with Amex fraud division and they are monitoring this transaction. I have since checked with Amex and there was NOTHING wrong with my card nor did the machine at any time issue an instruction to see attendant or card was invalid. At no time was I treated with respect as an individual or a customer. Since the petroleum suppliers have had complete freedom to charge what they want any time they want has obviously created a climate of total disrespect. I had just moved my sales force from Sunoco to Petro Canada I thought my way to keep Canadian. That has now changed. I know there will never be a call or response to a 70.00 issue and I am not looking to profit from this in ANY WAY. My mission now is to make sure every Canadian is aware of these business practices in this economic climate.

Expensive gas
This is not really a complaint about any one person, but I really hate the gas prices. I know for a fact that the Big 4 Oil Companies in Canada are making huge profits regardless of the market price per barrel. Their profits stil increase every year, the reason is because we're all so dependant on it. Our pockets get more empty, but theirs get more full with $$$ I drive 2 hours a day, and the amount of money I spend in gas is more than I spend on food, water and hydro.

Maybe with enough hassle, we'll finally get our break! It's worth a try.
