I believe that you needed more information on owning bearded dragons before they immediately took you to the extremes.
There is one thing about pet stores, they are random people doing a job because they feel like they love animals. To truely care about animals they would have given you a care sheet, and maybe even shown you a book. My own bearded dragon died (rip spicky) from what i found out later was a hemorrage of the brain. I am an enthusicastic lizard and snake owner and I believe that every animals deserves the right to be cared for properly. I even noticed that a pet shop near my home has around twenty vitties and keeps them in a tiny weeny container. I helped my lizard after what was a (little accident) the pet shop told me where blood poored from his nose. I didnt get any other help but a little discount and a you bought it afterwards. I believe that my lizard should not have died and that more research is needed into the care and help into selling animals.
