Pg Glass doesn't care about customer service
My passenger door window got smased on 9 April. On Saturday 10 April we took the vehicle to PG glass Krugersdorp. They said they would forward the claim to the insurance and would let us know when to bring the car in to fit the new window. On Monday they phoned and told us the claim was rejected. When we phoned our insurance company we were told that pg glass submitted it incorrectly. We contacted pg glass again and this time they managed to get the submission right. I receved an sms from them on 14 April with a Ref no and we thought we were good to go. As its now almost a week and we havent heard anything from them, I once again called to ask about progress. Now we are told that the window was never ordered and they are only ordering it today (20 April) almost a week after the confirmation sms!!! This is shoddy customer service, your staff are clueless and inefficient and I will definitly never use you again!

Poor service in replacement of car window
On Saturday, 29 August, my car was broken into and the rear side window smashed. I tried to call the PG Glass branch in Centurion, but they did not answer their phone. Then I called the national 24 hour helpline, where I talked to a gentleman called William. He was very friendly and professional and told me that the glass had been ordered and that I had to go to the Centurion branch on Monday at 08:00 to have it replaced. The reference number was 1288817. When I arrived at the Centurion branch at 07:45 on Monday, the gentleman who helped me assured me that everything was in order and that I could fetch my car after four hours. At 12:00 I returned to the branch, where I was told that the window has not been repaired, because they did not have the glass. The same gentleman said that it was a waste of time to call the help line, because they were inefficient. He promised that the glass would arrive at 13:00. After many excuses and promises that the glass would be there in a few minutes, it finally arrived at 15:00 and the car was ready at 15:30. Nobody deemed it necessary to apologise for the fact that it took them 7 12 hours instead of the promised 4.

I am very upset with PG auto
A Few months ago I had to replace a window on my car. I sent my father to get it fixed at Victors Glass, a supplier of PG auto. After receiving the car I had to wait a few days for the tint to dry. When using the car I wound down the window and it didn't want to go back up again. I asked my father to take it back to Victors glass as I though it might not have been aligned correctly. I received the car the next day with the regulator in a plastic bag. My father was very upset with the way they had treated him, he said that they told him I broke the regulator and he is not the owner of the car he should get the owner to sort it out. I went to Ford and they told me the only way the regulator could break is if the window was not placed correctly. I contacted a few other repair companies which told me the same thing as Ford. I contacted Victors glass and wanted to know who will be paying for the damage. They told me that they don't deal with that I should get it repaired. I went to their workshop where they told me the same thing again and I wanted to talk with the owner, . I left messages for him to call me so we can have a talk about this, but he hasn't. I am VERY!! upset with PG auto.

Incompetent, dishonest and disgraceful
My Mini had its windscreen replaced by PG Menlyn. The car had severe wind noise when I received it back. The car was taken back to them. I was assured on collection that the problem was fixed. It was the same as before. The car went back again. I was phoned by someone who told me that 'Mini's sound like that'. His suggestion was to stick masking tape over the rain gutters which would solve the problem! The car went back a third time to be inspected by the technical guy from PG. He said that the windscreen pillar trim had been broken and was letting wind noise through. The part was ordered from BMW. The car went back a forth time for the technician to try and fit the wrong part for an hour! The excisting part had been ripped off the car without taking off the retaining screws which caused the plastic to break in several places. PG Glass or one of its employees therefore new that the part was broken in the fitment process yet chose to give me the run around for weeks trying to sort this out! The new part is expected tomorrow and they have offered to send a technician to me! 6 visits! INCOMPETENT, DISHONEST, DISGRACEFUL.
