Stupid me for not checking on this company before ordering their "free" offer. They had a "Rachel Ray - endorsed" product for diet supplements, offered a 30-day supply of product for only paying the shipping costs of $4.95. There was a 14-day trial period (in fine print, of course) which coincidentally commenced the very second you hit the "send" button on your order...so when I got my pills about 4 days later, I really had only 10 days left on my "trial period". After just a few days of taking this stuff, I noticed nothing at all, in fact was wondering if this was some sort of placebo, so with time running out, I called the company with 1 day left on the trial period to cancel. Guess what? The phone rang and rang, no answer, no voicemail, no nothing. WHAT A SCAM!!! I left town on the holidays, came back and there on the 15th day after my order was a $87 charge on my credit card.
I finally made contact with the company, the person explained why I was charged, and when I told her about I HAD called within the 14-day trial period but no one answered their phone, she tried to dodge around offering me a 50% discount, then a 85% discount (saying they had a 15% re-stocking fee)...when I brought up how on GOOGLE there are about 20+ listings of PharmaLabs, LLC with the word "SCAM" right after it, and how I intended to go to my local TV station that does consumer protection work, she immediately told me my credit card would be credited in FULL.
I still feel ripped off paying the $4.95 shipping on the original order since now I feel I was sent sugar pills or something.
WARNING: When you see these offers, GOOGLE them before ordering and you'll save yourself a lot of problems!
