Terrible experience
I bought some earphones a couple of days ago and after awhile my ears started hurting i went back to the store and asked if i could get those bud things to cover your earphones he said " you should of got them when you purchased them in the pack ". It should of been in the pack but it wasn't. I looked at another pair and i opened it and those earphones had some earphone covers...

Bad service
I have recieved a Philips GoGear Mp3 Player for my Birthday a year or 2 ago. in this time range of two years I have had 2 of these MP3 Players exchanged through Philips. This is my 3rd one. Varying from firmware problems to buttons that didn't work at all, This present has been more frustration than you could ask for. First, speaking with Philips customer care one too many times, I used the exchange program when I should've taken the MP3 player back to the retailer. The first one, was a firmware malfunction and my gogear wasn't even detected on my computer. When I called philips about the problems, I tried every troubleshooting idea they had, and ended up sending it in and had to pay shipping. The second one was AWEFUL!!! the buttons didn't work properly, and could only be charged when the battery was fully dead, and upon being charged, you couldn't even turn it on. This time when I sent it into Philips they told me again to pay shipping and I said no you guys can't even give me a working product why should i pay for shipping. Finally arguing with the Customer Rep, She talked to a supervisor and included shipping. Upon waiting and waiting, I finally received a new one that worked for a while, until the headphones broke and philips had to send a new pair. Now, the device won't sync with anything and they want to send me a file to fix it. NO! why should I have to fix it. I said that I want a refund and NO EXCHANGE, the employee told me they didn't do refunds and I requested to speak with a manager. It ended up that the manager put me on hold and said that consumer resources would be contacting me withing 1-2 business days so now I will wait for them to call and had I known the trouble of this thing, I would've taken my GoGear back to the retailer for a refund.

False advertisement
Does any body know how can i complaint about false advertisement, i went to this Sams Club last night to buy a plasma TV, i found a nice 46 inches Sony Bravia LCD for 1278 dollars, when i get it and go to pay to the cashier, they told me that the price was changed in the display area and the real price was 1778.., i talked to the manager DELVA and with some other employees, and they did not cooperate at all, just gave a attitude all the time., and told me that the price was 1778., even when i told them that what they were doing was against the law., please somebody write to me and let me know who can i call, i am really pissed about what happened.

unprofessioanl behavior at authorised service centre
I would like to present the bad experience I had in dealing with an authorised philips service centre.

On 3rd May 2008, I visited the Philips service centre near Marathahalli, Bangalore for getting my DVD player repaired. I reached VKS Services and met Mr Subaiya (contact number 91-93433 68341). I handed my DVD player over to him. The model of the DVD player is DVP320. I explained him the problem and he told me the repair cost of replacing the lens assembly. I agreed to the cost. He started preparing the paper. I asked him how much time will it take to get it repaired, he told me 15 days. Since I wanted to give the player to our guests who were visiting us for a few days, anticipating usual delays in repair, I requested him to repair it within one week i.e. by 10th May. I left with the papers and with his assurance that it will be done. I was out of town over that weekend and my guests were leaving on 17th, hence I called Mr Subaiya on 14th to check whether the player is repaired. He told me that they havent started the repair of that player and that he will start the work the next day. I told him that I will take the delivery the next day i.e. 15th. When I called him to inquire on 15th, he shamelessly told me that they dont have the spares to repair the player and hence cannot be repaired and told me that if I want I could take it back unrepaired.

My questions are
Why did he not check the availability of spares the day I gave him for repair?
Why did he promise me for the thing he was not able to do?
He had my phone number. Why he has not called me in time to inform me abour his inability?

He and philips have lost my trust with this incident. He has uabashedly lied to me. THis shows a total lack of professionalism. I never expected such a pathetic experience from an AUTHORISED PHILIPS service centre.

He has wasted my 10 days and yet the player is not repaired. I have only one day before the guests leave. How will I get the work done?

DVD 3046 Complain regarding poor customer service
Hi

I don't know if this is going to reach in right hands or not. I am writing this as a disappointed Customer of Philips.

I work in Wipro Technologies, Bangalore. I and my roomate purhased a DVD player on 01/07/2007. It was working absolutely fine till the 6th of October, 2007. The DVD was unable to operate with the remote, As the DVD is in warranty we took it to the service centre at RMS Technologies Pvt. Ltd. # 949, 39th Cross, 24th Main 4th Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore - 560041. As per the Invoice that we received the Promise Date to receive the DVD was 19th October, 2007. I called up the service center on the given Nos. and asked the status of my DVD via the token no. 63436 on the Invoice. I received a reply that I could come and collect the DVD on Tuesday the 23rd as per the technician the front panel had to be replaced and it has been ordered by the service center earlier. So I with my room mate went to the service center on Tuesday to collect the DVD player but the person incharge said that it was not yet ready and the front panel has not yet arrived, so I asked him when should I receive the DVD player as the promise date has already expired. In return their was a rude reply that, "due to the festivals their was a delay, and if you are in such hurry you can take the DVD player to the other service center in Jayanagar which had open shortly in the 6th Block for the same RMS technologies." I was surprised to know that a Customer is asked to take it to the other service center, which is strange.

This indicates that the service center is a disgrace for customers of Philips, and this all makes us feel that we should not purchase any Philips products due to such ignorance of time and customer service for the customers of Philips. In this way if I spread the news amomg my friends and colleagues, I suppose a person would think many a times when purchasing a Philips product.

I have never experinced such poor customer service earlier with any products that I own at my home.

Poor customer service!
Sent LCD Monitor in warranty for repair,got it back with the same problem,sent again in April, no Monitor back (August Now), bad customer service, no help at all. Just waist so much time with this people on the phone, just terrible.
I will NEVER deal with them or buy another product from them EVER again.

Deective TV, horrendous customer service
My Plasma 42" TV broke down only 2 months after we got it (Christmas gift, over $2000). After months of talking and mediating between their (numerous)repair shops and their company - they were arguing with me about who was going to pay for the repair, although it was under warranty and only a few months old - I finally got someone to come and fix the TV.

They finally came, and said they couldn't repair it (audio) - but added that since it wasn't a "constant" bother, to just "live with it"!

After arguing with the repair shop and the company - Philips finally agreed to refer me to another shop. They also came in, and said it couldn't be repaired, that it was a likely a manufacturer's problem.
In the weeks I was trying to get this addressed with Philips, something else broke (the image on day just mysteriously started getting blocked out).
Now, the TV doesn't even turn on. I

called them to date, at least 9 times. Of those 9 times, they put me on hold and then hung up 4 times.
I just now got off the phone with a supervisor (after waiting on the phone for 20 minutes - but I guess I should be grateful they didn't hang up on me this time) - I'm told that the TV may have to go to a "review board" for repairs.

I'm not even guaranteed that it'll be fixed and/or replaced, let alone get a refund, because they have "protocols" to follow. When I ask about the protocols, he tells me that he can't tell me that. He does however pertly inform me that, if this happens past the warranty period, that there's "no way" they're going to extend it.

Unbelievable! I've never had such problems with a product, horrendous customer service - if you can even call it at that. Philips obviously wants to make it very clear that once they get you to spend your money on their defective products, they want you off their hands! On top of that, it's been my experience that although they won't give you the time of day when you ask for service, they go out of their way to patronize their consumers with secret "rules" they apparently make up, as they go along.
I work in the medical center and was intending to consider their medical equipment - but now that I know they sell such defective products, but mostly because I'm so disgusted with their customer service, I'm not only going to abstain from buying their equipment for the center, but will go out of my way to tell all my other colleagues, patients and every one of my friends and family of this experience.
It happens that we all have problems with our purchases time to time, but Philips is a disgrace!
