i bought a phone on contract aprox a year ago (sony ericsson C905) and had nothing but trouble with it, firstly the screen went blank thn the speakers went could only make a call on loud speaker, then the camera went funny that was just the first time, then the second but i still got the same phone back just for it to keep breaking after the second time thepeople in phones 4 u told me if it happens again they would totally replace my phone but then didnt and tried to give me the same phone back (still wouldnt turn on) so i refused because i am not paying for a faulty phone. The girl in phones 4 u phoned head office explained the situation and they offered me the on ericsson W995 so i accepted happy i was finally getting a fully working phone, the girl in the shop said that the C905 was rubbish anyway and were all faulty which i was not happy about because this meant i had been lied to in this shop before, after i accepted te new phone she said it would arrive at my house before friday 23rd october when i should of recieved it 5 days earlier, i am really disappointed with the way i have been treated, i have also spoke to 3 different people at head office whom of which all said different things so quite clearly they were all lying, i need my mobile for my work and dont appreciate being lied to, i expect my new phone in the next few days (apparently)

SHITE REPAIR SERVICE..
STAY CLEAR FROM PHONES 4 U..They are allready being investigated, type in (phones 4 u under investigation) in google and read on and make your own mind up.I have had a really really bad experience from these so called professionals! Manager gives me one set of repair times which I am well outside, now after complaining to head office the goalposts have been moved and now given a totally different repair time.I am now taking this up with Trading Standards, do not let them fob you off with different dates, this product is not fit for the purpose sold to me. You try and get anywhere with these people once your phone goes wrong, Two hours on phone going round in circles. They are very cleaver in the way they word thiongs to do with repairs. PLEASE DONT USE THIS SHOWER..PLEASE DONT USE THIS SHOWER...VERY NICE PEOPLE IF THEY HAVE TO TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT THATS WHERE IT STOPS...Please shop around, they cant all be as bad as PHONES 4 U.

Dont use phones 4 U..RIP OFF
Please dont use Phones 4 U..YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.2 mnth old phone stopped working, phones 4 u wouldnt exchange.They sent for repair on 16th July.We get updates via email about state of repair, the est repair date has now changed eleven times.Now date for repair is 14th August!! I bet this will change again? Manager at Reading Phones 4U said as phone would not be repaired in the time given(18-21days) I should phone custumer service for a replacement. After speaking to head office cust services they now tell me they have 28 days to do repair, (Manager at shop obviously is talking out of his backside or hasnt been trained very well) Phones 4 u told me it was under manufacturers warranty and would be sent for repair, I was lead to believe it was sent to Sony..No it goes to phones 4 u repairer.Is he Fred in a shed!!Couldnt do repair, now sent for higher repair.Please avoid using, quick enough to take money but after that you are on your own.

baisically they wont let me get a refund or change my fone thats 2 weeks old
Im only 14 and im so up set because 2 weeks ago i bought a phone from phones 4 u. Everything was fine until the 5 of june 2009. I don't know how i did it but the screen was broke when i opened it. So on the the 6 of june 2009 me and my mum went into the phones 4 u shop in liverpool where i bought the phone. I hade everything and the recipt and my mum explaned to the assisstant manager what happerend and because i only had it for 2 weeks we where hoping for a refund or an exchange. He was being funny with us so my mum ask for the manager of the shop. When he came he started to look at the phone saying there's nothing he can do for us because the screen on the phone was broke. Me and my mum was not happy because it was only 2 weeks old and it was my birthday presant. my mum ask if we could have an exchange and he was argueing saying we could not because the screen was broke. There was a shop assisstant behind the manager with crossed arms was smirking all the way through the conversation and laughing. All me and my mum wanted was either a refund or a exchange. We felt so small and embarast. All the people in the shop where looking, the shop assisstants and the custormers. After 5 mins of the conversation the manager turned round saying we could send it to the repair shop but it won't get repaired. At that point me and my mum where so embarresed and disappoint in the company we left the shop. I got that phone 2 weeks ago as a birthday presant. I'm only 14 and i felt so passionate to ask you for your help. please can you investigate in this and see if theres anyway i could get an refund or exchange ?

pressured into contract
after two months of phone calls from phones 4 u i stupidly gave in to upgrading my old contracts against my better nature, even though i had repeatedly told them to stop calling me as i did not want any upgrades.
anyway the same day i was told i no longer had a job. the next day i phoned phones 4 u and told them i had changed my mind and was told that it was too late as it had already been prossessed and they could not change it. 4 days later i received two new phones which said next day delivery on the packages.this annoyed me so i sent them straight back unopened at a cost of £12.80 .I then phoned them up and told them what i had done and that i no longer could afford them due to losing my job.They told me that they would send them back to me even though i dont want them and that i still have to honour the contract even though it was only verbal.
My opinion is that i have given them plenty of notice and that i have signed nothing. Am i right and can they threaten me with legal action if i refuse to pay for something that i did no longer want and have not used.
