I found a charge on my first month of my upgrated phone (now a smartphone) for an APP "pictavision". I called AT&T and they initially said I downloaded it... well, have not downloaded anything, no child, nobody touch my phone besides me... them they said would remove it and I have to ask for a block on my phone (without no charges) and have a pin number... then the person said I was charged on my last bill also. How? My previous phone did not have internet... well them they said it would come with my smartphone... them I said how? Since I did not have the smartphone yet last month, this is my first month with this phone and I was already charged twice. I said to them I would review all my last two-years bills for this kind of charges. Then they said, actually we are charging you since October 2010. Ah??!!! Them I said to him that all his explanations did not explained how this bill got on my phone... then suddently he said that I may have got a message saying if I don't replay "No" or "stop" to the message, a charge would automatically be applied. Then I said it would not be legal to do that since I don't read AT&T messages and how someone can say if you not say "NO" something will be charged to your bill... I'm not authorizing anybody or asking for a service. Well, they removed at least 7 out of 8 charges so far, and said that the 8th one would be removed also, added the block to my account... but.. I have a feeling that I will see this charge again... I don't trust AT&T at all...

My phone was "hacked" by Pictavision. This is an AT&T phone - LG Shine. One day AFTER I cancelled my service with AT&T, the phone was hacked - all the way through some approval screen and the whole nine yards. It happened while the phone was on - I left it overnight in my car.
AT&T was great about removing the charges, so I do not fault them. I fault Pictavision for hacking into my phone and somehow figuring out a way to override approvals and create the charge!
I looked online for Pictavision and found a website but I cannot even determine what Pictavision is for.
Something needs to be done about this company - what they are doing is illegal!
