Picture.com made me feel so dumb for believing that i will get something for my money
Picture.com made me feel so dumb for believing that i will get something for my money.I submitted my photo in 2007 and got so many emails and letters through the post telling me how good my photo is and how nice it would be to see it in a book and so on.So i payed with my visa for 2 books worth over $120 and waited and waited and waited. And i'm still waiting it's been 2years. I never called them by phone but i emailed them constantly and got the same answer. To wait for the book. Now whenever i try to get to their site to check for the book or get their number or anything. I get forwarded to another site.I'm very angry and disappointed with myself for falling to this scam. Is there a way i can get my money back?

Stay away from this website
It looks like I, too, have fallen for picture.com's scam of ordering the Endless Journey's book, having the money immediately withdrawn from my bank account more than a year ago, and no book to show for it. I did order and receive my two submitted photos mounted on a plaque, and those look nice (surprisingly enough). I also joined their 'club' as it were. Like others I have now been reading about, I had been inundated with emails. I rec'd two letters (one for each photo) asking for a signature and permission to publish those two pics in this book. It also asked for add'l money if I wanted to have add'l info on the pics added in the book, but I opted to not do that. The odd thing is, even though I ordered the book based on the first picture I submitted, my second pic was also offered to be part of this same book, thus why I presume I rec'd the two letters I just spoke of. However, even after I sent both permission slips back, I still kept getting emails on the second picture (nothing ever rec'd on the first one after that) announcing it will be published in the book, pay $69.95 to get a copy of that book, etc. Among many other things I kept getting from them (the Vegas trip, the awards, etc), my inbox was getting daily emails. I fell for it and although I did receive a couple of the things I've ordered since I ordered that book, I'm afraid I may never get that book, and doubtful I'll get my money back. Calling the long-distance number that was listed previously only yielded endless hold times.
