Hands down the WORST customer service I've ever seen!
From the initial installation the technician wasn't able to install the alarm panel where
I wanted it (after the sales person told me "no problem") The installation was half assed and a poor attempt at best. From here it just get's worse!
I had to vacate my house as a result of the "Chinese Drywall" problem that has plagued the east coast. I moved out of my house while it was essentially gutted to the framing inside and had the alarm system, along with everything else in the house removed. I contacted customer service to see if they would credit me for the four months I have not lived in the residence. Their response was NO. I inquired about defering my contract until I moved back
in, again their response was NO. So for the past 4 months I've been paying them for services they are NOT providing! Remember the alarm system has physically been removed from the house. Wait it gets better!
From the initial removal of the alarm system from my house (May 09) it took them 6 weeks to contact me to tell me there was problem with my alarm system!!! what am I paying them for? I know the system isn't working it's no longer installed in my house!
I contact customer service (again) to find out why I was not notified the day the system went down? their response was that I need to contact the monitoring company!?! My contract is with Pinacle Security not "The monitoring company" whoever that is?
I contact the company that monitors Pinacles alarm systems and they tell me I need to contact Pinacle Security!!
I inquire about cancelling my contract for lack of confidence in their sercices and am told I need to satisfy the contract in full $ wise to get out of it or risk being taken to court.
To make a long story short to this day I continue to pay for service they are not providing and have yet to recieve a reply to email inquiries about obtaining a local Ph no. in VA. to arrange for re-installation of my alarm equipment when I move back into my home, which they intend to charge me for by the way. I have recieved two more calls about problems with my alarm even after explaining that is NOT installed!
Pinacle Security is a scam and I wouldn't recommend their service to ANYONE! their employee's who answer the phones have NO knowledge of company policy. There is NO customer service that I have been able to see, except for the part where they contact you immediatley if payment for "NON" services is not recieved! Should you choose to visit their
web page you'll find testimonial after testimonial about the great experiencing their customers have had, it's ALL smoke and mirror's as far as I'm concerened, bordering on false advertising! Yet I'm bound by a contract I signed into -shame on me NEVER AGAIN
