Bad service
Dropped off car on Jan 20th. Service advisor did not list all my complaints on the work order. There was noise coming from the right front, over bumps and occasionally while shifting. Secondly, there was little clutch on a cold start, but it would build as I drove, I was unclear if it was a pressure issue, or a fluid issue, and it went away after a minute or two. The dealership where I purchased the car Dec 15th is willing to pay for unwarranted work, I have put 1000 miles on it so far. I made it clear to him I would need a loaner to get back and forth to work. Well I called there around 4:30pm to see what was going on, my advisor had gone home already, without contacting me. I was told to be there at 7:30am the following morning to get a courtesy car. So I was late to work again for no good reason. Friday I made a point to call my advisor many times. That's when I was told my car needed a new clutch due to a faulty throw-out bearing, but it isn't warrantied, its $1300. I told him that the dealership I purchased the car from had already called to give the go ahead, 3 TIMES. When I called and asked to speak with a manager, I was put on hold for a while, then got my advisor the one I was calling to complain about. Suddenly he got the three messages, and was telling me he was not trying to jerk me around. Well at this point my purchasing dealership told me to bring it to them. Which I had to wait till the 25th to pick up my car because the mechanic went home early. Well they replaced my two lower control arms, along with linkage rods. Now my alignment feels off, not to mention the lack of a clutch. When I dropped it off, the clutch was not nearly as high on the pedal stroke as it is now. I would not have purchased the car without a new clutch installed in that condition. So now my car is worse off then when it got there, and I suspect foul play. I was civil, but did complain, and will continue to do so.
