Double Billing
I have been double bill on two separate occassions from this company. First time was when the company changed from Pinnacle to Mantronics Security. I had to verify that my bank release the amount. This I could not believe because they require you to authorize electronic debit, and they charge one month in advance. This recent time was when they changed back to Pinnacle Security and I was charge on the 2nd & the 5th of July 2011. When I contacted the billing department I was informed that I didn't make a June 2011 payment. I fax'd over verification from my checking account, and was told they would make the determination and respond back. They never did, I contacted them again both my email [email protected] and commercial phone and said they I had not made a payment for the month of June. I again informed them of the eamil and the fax'd information submitted. I was given a option to either accept a advance credit or wait another 30 days for a possible credit back to my account. I informed them that I would terminate my contract with them, and was told they are talking over for ADT. This information was later found to be un-true. I have since been receiving phone calls from them telling my system is malfunctioning.

Stay away
This Pinnacle creep came to my door a couple of days ago. I didn't have time for his sales pitch so I basically slammed the door in his face. Then today he came back, and this time my husband was home. My husband told him we're not interested, and this Pinnacle guy kept pushing, claiming that we already have service with their company (which is not true). Finally my husband said "What part of NO do you not understand" and Pinnacle guy FLIPPED THE MIDDLE FINGER and stalked off! My husband said "What is your problem?" and Pinnacle guy said "Do you want to make it a problem?" Luckily we got his license plate number, and if I ever see him in our neighborhood again I'm calling the cops!

Fraudulent
I live in urban Philadelphia, Nicetown to be exact, and yes we have crimes.I am a renter, have been for the last 25yrs. I moved to Nicetown Philadelphia, from Elkins Park in Bensalem pa.I lived in apartment buildings. This was my first time ever renting a house...it's different than apartments. So on a nice warm day in October at around 6 or 7 pm, my doorbell rang, I went to answer it and it was a salesperson at my door. I at first told him I was not interested in anything that would cost me an usual amount of money as I am on a fixed income. ( I am disabled through no fault of my own, and I am not illiterate..at this time I was and still am under a Dr's care, i am on anti depression meds and pain meds, I also take meds for asthma and yes I was medicated when the salesman showed up at my door) The salesman was nice and understanding, but neverthe less he was still confident and persevering. He asked me a few questions about the neighborhood, and then proceeded to provide me with some alarming facts that I was not aware of about the neighborhood where I now reside. So when he started talking about a free alarm system( If I let them use my house for advertising) with no installation charges, I started listening. He was knowledgeable and courteous, but he talked fast. it was late and he was rushing to get me to sign up in a hurry, because the installation guy was in the area at the time, but wouldn't be there for long. He quickly went throught the contract with me. The free installation, he informed me that the service would cost about 39.99 a month, he also told me I could take this system with me anywhere i moved, free of charge. Now what he didn't tell me, ( he was pressed for me to read through the entire contract, he said that I needed to hurry up and sign the contract so he could schedule the installation before the installers left the area, also he didn't want his office to close before we could verify the contract.) Well he needed someone to verify my identity, that's all, so I gave him my Uncles name who by the way doesn't live with me, and owns his own house. I thought that was it. So after all was said and done, i talked with the office, at that time they did not inform me that the term of the contract was for three years. They did however inform me that their services are for HOMEOWNERS ONLY. Once I realized that I signed this contract in error, I tried to rescind it, . They wouldn't let me. they are now sending bills in the name of my Uncle, who never signed any contract. His name is on it, there is a signature, but I signed that only because the representative stated that it was for verifying identity purposes only. They have him listed as my spouse, and he is my Uncle. I was taken advantage of, I was deceived. Besides the fact that I really can't afford this contract or the monthly payments, I asked them how could this contract be legal and binding if A. I was under the influence at the time I signed the contract and B. I am only renting and can prove that neither myself nor my Uncle owns this property.

Cancel before they leave premises
Just had a visit by Pinnacle Reps...Thanks for everyone who posted on here. Here are a few of the red flags they set off.
1. Salesman constant dig for information and entering into their database.
2. Never asked to do a credit check actedd like he was doing one, but just called his office or someone then said hey good news you are approved.
3. Never asked if I wanted system, just kept writing and doing paperwork.
4. I almost went all the way, then decided to research them while they were here. Told them to stop work give me all paperwork back and to sign across paperwork it was not installed and canceled.
5. I am glad I checked before I made the mistakes others have made have paperwork stating canceled on day of contract so I had better not be billed.
Calling bank first thing Monday to make sure they do not release any information to them...
Please warn everyone... I almost did something ***...

Didn't remove my number
2-1/2 years ago my sister had a boyfriend. My number was on the contact list. I have not had any contact with him in that time. For the past two weeks pinnacle has contacted me about 10x. I asked them numerous times to stop calling and remove my number. They said they did. I received more calls. I called back in. This time they told me that couldn't remove me unless Patrick called in. I have no contact with him. They wouldn't remove my number and still keep calling since there is a problem with the alarm. All I want is to remove my number from the contact list.

Dishonest company
I worked for Pinnacle security for 1 season and was shocked to see the dishonesty that was taught and practiced. We were told too sell and say whatever to get the sale. One of the head salesman and managers in the company was caught doing fraud, using other customers credit scores to pass those with bad credit to get his sales. He was suspended for a few weeks and then back out on the streets. Why? because he sells. We had another in our office that would make up fake crime reports and show to potential customers. The police stepped in and removed us from the area, that guy is a manager for pinnacle at the moment.

This company lied to get us.
A salesman from Pinnacle Security knocked on our door
and told us that ADT was closing their business and they were replacing them.
This salesman did a very convincing delivery to me and my husband. We fell for it all. As time went by,
I did not see P.S.'s sign anywhere on our street accept
one home. We could not believe this man lied to us.
I don't know many people in this area, so we thought
maybe we were wrong. I thought I would ask a few
people on our street did this company tell them the
same thing.
One neighbor said they would call ADT while the
saleman was there. Maybe I should make myself
clear. We also had ADT whom we called and
cancelled our service with them.
I called P.S. and told them that we had a problem
with our system and we wanted someone to come
here and fix it.
They talked us out of that. Instead they talked us
into doing the repair ourselves. We tried but we
were unsuccessful.
No one came out here. I called back to see if we could
get a repair person. Again, we got no one. We
got the part from them. They said they would like
for us to fix the problem so we would not be charged
for service.
The most important thing is we were lied to. And
they are taking our money that we send each month
for our bill payment.

Slow service
We were put out of our home due to a flood. Our system went down because of the flood waters. I have been trying to get a technician out to our house for the past 3 weeks and have not received a call or yet has anyone to show up to fix the system.
We spent Christmas without a system in our home. Today, Dec 28, is the scheduled day for a technician to come out, finally, and guess what? NO SHOW. I called the company again and they can't get the technician on the phone for some reason.
I told the rep we are going to cancel. They said that was fine, but we'd have to pay a penalty fee because we are under contract for 38 months. Fee: remainder of the 38 mos which is 26 months left!! I do NOT recommend this company to anyone!!! I you do have this system, I'm sorry!

Misrepresentation
The Pinnacle Security Alarm company need to train their representatives not to lie, to be good sales people, not con artist! If they have a good product then sell it honestly.
My friend had the system installed under faults pretences with her representative selling all her neighbors the same lying lines, "that they aren't signing a contract, but an agreement". the agreement being that they were the home owner.
The rep. said they could cancel anytime with no fees, or hassels. Her rep was Dave Jones 313-319-0772, who by the way became unreachable when the problems started, and hasn't been heard from since.
I'm making a complaint to the BBB, the FTC, at Ripoff Report, and the Attorney Gereral. I'm not taking this consumer ripoff any more.
Pinnacle Security, look out you will get the honesty back in your company when you start facing all the class action suites you'll be facing.
