Pioneer Electronics company has cheated me with its unreliable products, demeaning service center and their so called national sales manager Mr. Rahul Singh.
We bought a pioneer 50 inch flat screen HDMI plasma tv in the year 2008 for a huge sum of money form a shop called Rhythm Corner in South Extension market of New Delhi.
This unit is less then two years old and is used only 2-3 times a week, at most for couple of hours. This is installed in an ideal environment – powered by a dedicated 1.5 kva APC UPS, for example.
About 4 months ago it suddenly started showing very very coarse colors. After we reported the problem to Rhythm Corner shop, someone from Pioneer service center came to take a look from NOIDA. They decided that it needed to be taken to their service center. Besides taking several reminders to appear for collection, here is the most disturbing part: they wanted us to sign a service receipt that mentioned scratches on the set, while it is in absolutely impeccable condition. When we asked, we were told that this is “standard procedure”. We slightly objected to it and they refused to take the TV. This drama took place in March 2010.
Two months have passed since then, many calls were made to this company and their service centre but it yielded no results. Then we sent a formal complaint (on 9th May) in writing to Rhythm Corner who did an active follow up with the national sales manager Mr. Rahul Singh. But nothing has moved.
Pioneer should be ashamed of employing such an inefficient National Sales Manager who is hell bent on endangering their business. No doubt his juniors are following his footsteps.
We are feeling badly cheated by Pioneer, we bought their top of the model tv and it has conked off in a period of just 1-1/2 year. And on top of their bad & unreliable products, their disgusting staff makes everything even more difficult.
We had never known that Pioneer products are so demeaning, we have really been cheated.
