I started working for planet fitness 2years ago when the franchise when it opened in ypsilanti michigan.I noticed how all the black employees were on the night shift so the people that come in on day shift wouldn't see them .I tried to treat all the patrons fair one day my boss told me not talk to people when they enter the gym then I realized that he had a problem with me talking to the black patrons. I worked there for two years and I never missed one day I had an incident when a lady came in on my shift talking to me with a rude tone she even cursed at me I told her to leave the gym she replied I'm calling corporate on you what's your name I told her then she left. As soon as she left I called my boss and told him what happened he told me I handled it the way I should have. I came to work the next day and I worked my shift and at 430 am my boss called me and fired me over the phone. I want everyone to know that planet fitness practices extorting money from their customers with extra billing what ever you do find another gym to workout at don't become a victim of the crooks at planet fitness customers should be treated with respect not misled and used to get more money by applying stupid fees. There were slot og good people that came into the ypsilanti michigan planet fitness they deserve to be treated better. Before you think about giving planet fitness your money do your research.
