I would like to start with my story so buyers beware especially people with handicaps because they will take your money and not care about delivering your product to you. I am currently in the Marine Corps and have aq spinal injury which hinders my mobily and range of motion. I thought hey why not get a handcycle so I did my research and came across Planet Mobilty aka MMI. I talked to the owner Mike Woods and he took the order and got me a great deal on this bike...$3000 to be exact. Mike told the handcycle would be arriving in 2 weeks...well 2 weeks came...guess what no handcycle. I then began calling 6-10 a day and I kept being put on hold...transferred...or hung up on. This really angered me so I kept calling and all the excuses I was given it was differnt for the last 20+ phone calls I made. On the final phone call I was informed that PlanetMobily/MMI no longer deal with the manufacture...kinda strange huh...out of ther blue yeah that's fishy I would say. Mike told me he would refund me my money with next day mail that would have a certified check with the full amount sent to me. I was like no...I payed with a Visa card just put it back on the card...well Mike tryed aviod that question. He told if I wanted something else he would accomodate...so he offered me a wheelchair lift...I am not in a wheelchair so why would I need that. Mike also said he hoped I would accept his apology...hell no. The sad reality is this bikw was paid for by a non-profit group group that helps wounded, ill and injured service members...so this is someones hard earned money that was donated. What really did it in for me was when Mike told my wife he was paralyed from the neck down but he could type pretty well. I have contacted a federal procecuter to handle this matter and we will be filing charges if the money is not returned to me. This company will take advantage of anyone it can so PLEASE...DO NOT buy from them...I do not want this to happen to anyone else especially disabled veterans.
