chinese burnt copies
Hi I purchased what I thought to be and what was advertised as limited edition complete tv series of Happy Days and boy did I get a shock when I opened up my package. They were nothing but discs stuck in two video cassette cases with burnt copies of the series from tv with commercials and the quality is absolutely attrocious. I emailed them straight away and after a few days received an email back explaining to me that and I quote "PLEASE KEEP IN MIND AN OFFICIAL DVD COLLECTION HAS NEVER BEEN RELEASED FOR THIS SERIES AND WHAT YOU RECEIVED WAS A COLLECTORS/FAN VERSION" unquote. So that was a lie as here in Australia I have been able to get up to season 4 from the stores but I was thinking that in America as per the norm that they would have all the seasons released as they always do before us. So the company gave me two options to return the goods pay for postage and I would receive a full refund excluding postage or option two except $6o and keep the goods. Since I had already paid with the exchange rate $170 approx I wasn't going to pay another $23 to post them back so I went for the second option. The refund was in my bank in approx 5 days. I cant believe that they can get away with this and was very angry as the goods ended up coming from China I have documentation to prove it and ahhhhh it just makes me mad.

Scammers
I purchased the "Then Came Bronson" box set for my Dad and they are junk!!! Unwatchable!!! They skip, freeze and are such low quality. They were recorded directly off of the TV!!! I cannot believe this site (and it's many other alias'-I have done my research... too bad it's too late) are even still operating! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!

Not Getting What was promised
PlanetDVDStore is allowed to advertise on eBay under DVDs for Ozzie & Harriet. The ad reads that they sell all 435 episodes on 43 DVD's. They further state that the quality of the product is good.
I received this item for my birthday from my son. It was shipped from China. There were only 185 episodes. Most of the episodes were of poor quality and you could see that they were copied off of a TV program. There was a blank disc and several duplicate discs. You can't return the product because the address is in Chinese. The company does not respond to e mail inquiries or telephone calls. eBay refuses to eliminate their ads even though the internet contains numerous bad reviews of this company. The only recourse is through your credit card company.

march 8 of this yr i ordered 109296--which was the 635 episodes of gunsmoke-for 150.00--on april 10 i received my order MINUS volumes 5 and 6--GOT vols 1-2-3-4-7-8 -missing discs 79-118--a total of 29 discs--i got an incomplete order--emailed them and called them many times---no response--NEVER a word or email-im afraid to go thru expense of sending back what i received for fear of losing that and the ship expense--all i want is the missing volumes---any help you can give me is greatly appreciated---im 64 and cant afford to be ripped off--from what ive seen as to the complaints against them im astounded they are allowed to operate!--thank you

Fraud
I had order the complete series of "Rawhide" for my dad for his birthday Monday. I decided to research the company and that's when I found this site. I imediately tried to go to their website to cancel the order, but, low and behold, their website was down. I emailed them several times to no avail. I contacted my bank (I used my debit card) and they found their phone number and I called this morning and had them cancel my order. The man I talked to said he'd send the info to the billing department and I should see my paid amout back in my checking account in 5-10 days. We shall see.

Returns
Isn't there a way you can use the tracking number on the package you receive to see where it came from. I'm sure the UPS or USPS people would be happy to try. I just emailed to cancel the order i placed yesterday once I saw that their website was down. There's something not quite right about having your credit card charged and then the company's website getting deleted!!!

BAD DVD
My daughtered ordered several TV Series dvd's from this so called PlanetDVDStore. The site looked good but I should have really looked it over and then I would of noticed no phone number or address. She spent over $500.00 and it went on my charge card. The dvd's all skip, stick and at times the picture is distorted. If it had been just one...ok but it is all 6 series of dvd's. I was really surprize when the dvd's came and I noticed the cheap looking boxes from China. Thats exactly where they were shipped from and carry that kind of quality. The cases look like cheap homemade labels and I noticed that there is no company name, address or anything. We had ordered from a different place before and all that info was on the dvd case. I have contacted them via email several times...no more than several times and they do not respond. I did call my charge card company and she gave me another number to call. She called it their dispute center to see if they can help. I filed a complaint with the FTC. I think $500.00 is a bit much to be ripped off of.

SCAM ARTISTS
If you are reading this BEFORE you buy anything from PlanetDVDStore, count yourself one of the lucky ones. Check the Better Business Bureau and you will find a D+ rating. See the other posts here - all are frighteningly similar.

I ordered a complete set of DVDS (the Dallas TV show series) and felt pretty good after I received an email saying my order had been processed and was shipping. After 2 weeks went by (and my mother's birthday, whose gift the DVD set was) and nothing was shipped, I emailed the contact email asking for a status update. No response. A week later, I tried to find any CONTACT info for this business. Surprise surprise, I found nothing - not an address, contact name, phone number or email other than this: [email protected]. I wrote the address asking for a phone number, and no response came. This is the clue that will tip me off next time I order online. A reputable seller will disclose full contact information and methods for return or exchange.

A full 31 days later, I received an email saying my DVDs had shipped. Too late - I reversed the charges on my credit card and will have the post office return to sender, should anything actually be delivered. Please read the other posts on this website. I hope whomever is behind this site is hung by his ankles and left to rot.
